Two other available PGs that I have to believe Lakers will look at in addition to exploring trade options: Mike James and Jonny Flynn

This would be a great signing IMO

I support this signing, but only if he plays with a cape every game. That man is a borderline superhero, and he needs to be treated like it.

Kobe and Mike James the 2 greatest GOAT on the same team, not fair. Mike James going to join Kobe is like LeBron selling out and joining Wade a few yrs back (when he was a top 5 player and actually watchable).

Sort of like how Dwight and Nash sold out to join Kobe and Pau except for the part where the team was actually good. ;)

Johnny Flynn isn't playing that impressive in the Australian NBL at present, and the calibre of basketball is pretty low in the NBL.

Lol what a great thread. An opinion, not even a fact. It's funny how non-laker fans always complain about laker threads but make laker hater threads all the time. This thread is terrible and not once have the lakers mentioned mike James solving their problems. LMFAO!

Well, mostly I was just trolling for the sake of trolling. But there clearly has to be some problems if they need Steve Nash to push a team with Kobe, Dwight, Jamison, Gasol and MWP over the edge. There is far too much talent for this team to be this bad right now, and I don't know how you can say Nash is the reason the team is playing like ****.

Reading Comprehension.

I never said Nash is THE REASON for the team playing like ****. But it has to count for something when the guy who will be responsible for moving the ball around, the guy with better ball handling skills than Kobe (less turnovers leads to less transition points, our big glaring weakness) is not playing at the moment. In fact, he only played 1 game and a half under the old system. He hasn't even had a chance to play under D'Antoni yet..

Write better.

You clearly stated that Nash coming back would make a difference, as if it's the different between this Laker team being great and being mediocre. Except that this team wasn't any good when he did play (expecting small sample size excuse) and that's not even the biggest issue, dude.

The biggest issue is that Nash SHOULDN'T matter in the first place. Without him, you still have a team with three top 100 all-time players and guaranteed of Hall of Famers. Regardless of how bad the supporting cast is (and it's bad, but not horrendous), that team should be better than this. Boston and Miami didn't struggle this much when they got together. And the sad thing is that this roster is essentially the same as the last few seasons except with Dwight replacing Bynum and without Sessions.

I get that in D'Antoni's offense, Nash is the key cog that makes that wheels turn. But with this much talent, that shouldn't matter so much. Against the Rockets a few weeks ago, Toney freakin' Douglas and Greg Smith beat them in the fourth quarter and they gave up a 17-point lead. That should never happen, especially with a team this talented.
