Mayo's number look awesome.. However Harden will most likely be behind Kobe.

Harden by a little bit over Mayo. Iggy has been a disappointment.

as of now, mayo but with time his numbers will regress

The Nuggets will look alot better as the season gos on and the schedule finally lightens up on them. Iggy doesn't have a case unless his team is winning because his impact isn't statistically evident yet.

OJ has been great but I still think over his head and has begun to cool down abit. Still playing at an All-Star level overall but Harden gets my vote. Obviously team record and slightly better stats for an overachieving Houston team is too much to overlook.

This. Harden has got to be more efficient, but he's been the best of the three and the Rockets are currently in better shape than the Mavs or Nuggets. I don't expect that to continue, but if the All-Star game began now, I don't know how you could pick Mayo or Iggy over Harden when his numbers are better and his team's record is better.

Out of the three I would take Harden over Mayo by a little. Igoudala has been awful this year, and shouldn't even be mentioned in allstar consideration.

Those stats between OJ and Harden are really close tho. You just have to ask yourself if you buy into him being a better defender because offensively they have been identical. If they are equal defensively then it comes down to intangible worth.

Shooting% overlooks his ability to draw fouls and shoot 3's + create.

Harden TS%55.4, eFG 46.2
Mayo TS%60.6, eFG 56.6

Mayo has been better when you take those things into account as well.

I never said he didnt, my point was that Harden wasnt terribly inefficient.

I've already admitted the 2 are identical offensively.

Mayo, he carried the offence of Dallas w/o Dirk better then Harden doing right now.

Considering Kobe, CP3, and Westbrook are locks at guard... I could see none of them making it at this rate. You've got Curry, Conley, Lillard, and TP to consider at guard as well.

I voted for Iggy... his rebounding and passing is great, and his FG% is respectable, but his defence, as usual is what puts him ahead of the other two.

Harden FG% is awfully low right now.

Mayo though is equally deserving, he's scoring more and shooting at a better percentage than Iggy. So I wouldn't have a problem if he made the ASG ahead of Iggy, I just am a really big fan of Iggy's defence.

Kobe though is the obvious choice for starter. If they do have five guards on the team as they often do, I think three of those spots will go to PGs (CP3, Westbrook and Curry).

How many times do people have to show you the flaws with fg% in one day ?... Atleast look at the best stats

I disagree.

The number one factor in TS enhancing FG% is Free Throws. The more you get to the line (assuming you have a high FT%) the higher your TS will be.

Point being? Tyson Chandler has the highest single season TS% in NBA history what does that say about his shot creation?

He means usage and playmaking. Really tho the 2 are near identical in terms of offensive contributions thus far.

Mayo and Harden have a lot in common

Picked 3rd in 1st round

6th man

Behind defensive players for the better of the team (Thabo, Allen)

Both are playmakers and scorers

Now 1st options on different teams for the first time since college

Mayo was a solid signing for Dallas and has done a nice job as their starting shooting guard, scoring the ball well in an effort to help fill the void by the inured Dirk. However imo, hasn't quite played at an all-star level, but indeed better than average among other starting guards at his position.
I'm a big fan of Iggy but he's been a bit inconsistent thus' far and has yet to completely settle in his role as a Nugget. It will not be long before he finds his groove and he should be a great addition for them.

My pick is James Harden. He's stood out as the leader of the Rockets so far and has played at a very high level of baskeball and has scored the ball at a high rate. His early hot start as well as consistency in most games should be enough to get him in to go with his increasing popularity and development.

The all star team doesn't differentiate guards, right? I think it'll probably be Kobe, Harden, and a whole mess of point guards.
