View Full Version : Regarding HCA

In SpaceJAM when Michael Jordan played against the MONSTARS how much did HCA help him in coming back in the 2nd half? If he had lost in the 2nd half would he still be the GOAT?

Let's say MJ loses and ends up on Moronmountain and has to play against kids and lose all the time, how many loses does it take for him to drop in the all time rankings...

Also, I think MJ had less help than Lebron when winning a championship with the Looney Tunes, since Lebron had a decent squad in Cleveland I'm pretty sure we all have to admit Lebron will never catch MJ...

I do agree that LEbron sucks for not winning with Shaq while Jordan's center was like a 4 foot Tasmanian devil.

Jordan wouldn't have won without Bugs Bunny. What did Lebron have in Cleveland?

Sactown

Lebron had a MVP in SHAQ

I wonder what Bugs Bunny's Per was..

Also Bugs Bunny was the team captain!! Was Jordan Bugs Bunnies Robin?

Not to mention MJ delivered that inspirational speech during halftime once the Secret Stuff wore off. Not sure LeBron could've done that.

Don't forget he had a 33 year old Ben Wallace guys. Lebron will never be the GOAT. MJ got it done being the tallest player on that Looney Tunes squad

Michael had a great team around him when he beat the MONSTARS. They didn't miss a single shot.

While Lebron's number 2 option, Mo Williams just sucked ***.

Well Bugs was the one who invented the secret stuff while MJ put them to sleep! How does that change things?

You also have to consider defense, the MONSTARS only missed one shot, is MJ that good of a defender? seems like you have to start questioning ones defensive prowess when he can't stop anybody

He was a x4 DPOY. I know he wasn't even good on the Cavs but his past acheivements make his current performance irrelevant.

Well obviously. I mean, when you win the MVP award in 2000 and win 3 titles, you'll obviously carry that into your skill set in 2009.

It's no surprise Bill Murray had to follow MJ from his golf team to the Looneys... he had no shot at winning in the 3D world after MJ left

That has to be considered since it totally matters when evaluating talent if they led a franchise to it's 1st title ever or not....

I think Bugs definitely led the team to its 1st title with MJ playing 2nd fiddle.

MJ had 0 assist and 2 turnovers, what a ball hog...

exactly, and he had to heave a halfcourt shot to even win the game when he could have just dumped it off for the easy assist. such a ball hog. lucky that shot even went in

The Monstars, behind a vicious defense and a quick-strike transition offense featuring the unprecedented three-point-line dunk, seize early control and take a 66-18 lead into the half. Pound (Barkley) and Bupkus (Ewing) are dominant. Things look grim for MJ, Bugs, and crew.

But the Tunes uncork a 48-2 run in the second half to pull within two points late in the fourth quarter. The dearth of offensive production by the Monstars during this stretch is puzzling. Turnovers? Did they abandon the three-point-line dunk? The answer no doubt lies on the cutting-room floor. There’s an equally confusing run at the end of the game. As paramedics inflate Jordan’s assistant Stan Podolak following his lone bucket, the scoreboard clearly shows the Monstars ahead 77-67 with 10 seconds remaining. Yet following his treatment and the surprise entrance of Bill Murray, the score has changed to 77-76 with no time having elapsed. Perhaps Marvin the Martian, the head official, got fed up with the Monstars’ rugged defense—they injured all but four of the players on the original Tunes roster—and issued a slew of technical fouls. We’ll never know. All we know is that the game ends on Jordan’s dramatic, half-court arm-stretching dunk as time expires. How about that: The team with the widest appeal and most marketable superstar wins the big game by some mysterious contrivance. You might say this is ridiculous. I call it verisimilitude.

I hit enter too early, remember these players were on incredible steroids lol the movie didn't list their heights but they were surely over 10 feet lol... As for defense, neither team played defense very well, except for the MONSTARS forced 15 turnovers the SCORE at the end was upped by 10 points by... Drum roll....

clearly MJ couldnt do it on his own and needed to give them a little help from the refs to even have the opportunity to have that last shot
