I don't know if it was possible at the time for them to sign Lebron and keep their core of Duncan Ginobili and Parker..But lets say they could...would that have been a dynasty in the making? I think they would have won at least 2 by now together as a team since then, and the next 3 years would have been in the finals all 3 years and contended.

San Antonio really has impressed me how competitive they still are after all these years with Duncan playing out of his mind well into his 30s.

2nd round team at most. Too much players that need the ball in their hands.

I think that team would flop too much. Everyone on PSD would hate them. They probably would have drafted Blake Griffin James Harden too.

Bron's too much of a clown to work on a team like the spurs. Also, it's be really nice if all of these stupid threads in the NBA forum were gone

What if Lebron signed with the Knicks instead of Amare? And then the Knicks made the trade for Melo and signed all the guys they had now?

Felton/Kidd
Shump/Brewer
Melo/Novak
Lebron/Sheed
Chandler/Camby
What then?

What if Rasual Butler didn't put a picture of himself fapping on google? He'd still be the starting 3 on the Raptors.

If you had Pops and LeBron, it's game over. And not just when people say it's game over, and it's not really game over.

This would be GAME OVER.

Lebron would never sign with a team who had a true pg and a true center. His personal stats would suffer too much even though he would likely win more games and be more of a favorite to win the title every year.

Parker would take away his precious assists, and Duncan would take away his precious rebounds. Plus, Duncan is only the power forward, San Antonio usually had a decent rebounding center to pair with Duncan as well. That would totally cripple Lebron's rebounds. Pops is too good of a coach to be bullied into serving Lebron's stat stuffing agenda anyways. He would do what's best for the team to win and that would be to play Lebron is a wing position where he could help out the team the best.

Lets also forget that Lebron would also never play in San Antonio because they are in the west and Lebron would never want to jeopardize his regular season record as it would hurt his MVP chances.

lebron's D would have been unstoppable. His defense is already some the best in the league but having POP drill him in practice (haha). Lebron could avg five steals and five blocks a game

LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Amar'e and Joe Johnson all planned to secretly sign with San Antonio for the minimum, but David Stern snuffed it out because he hates the Spurs.
