He would become their setup man.

Deal isn't official yet, but it's very possible.

Rosenthal said he's gotten conflicting reports. Some say its done and a 2 for 1, some say its not and that multiple teams are after Lopez. So idk at this point

Interesting. I honestly didn't even know Wilton Lopez was any good but he's put up some nice numbers under the radar.

Reports are actually that he was in Philly taking a Physical yesterday. Specualtion is they found something they didn't like.

Report also said the trade would center around Tyler Cloud and possibly a catcher.

This all from the beat guy Jim Salisbury.

Good move for the Astros. His value won't get any higher and they're not competing any time soon so having these kind of relievers isn't a necessity...

The trade that was supposed to send reliever Wilton Lopez to the Phillies "appears to have hit a snag."
That's the word from MLB.com Astros beat writer Brian McTaggart. Lopez was in Philadelphia on Wednesday for a physical, which might not have gone smoothly. The righty did experience elbow problems in 2012. Houston was supposed to get a pair of youngsters in return.
