I don't think Memphis will be this good at the end of the season and even if they are I still see OKC, SA, LAC and LAL beating them in a 7 game series

OKC will come out of the west, then maybe memphis and clippers have a chance. no one else.

OKC. They won it last year and should be the favorites again. The Spurs were too old to keep up with them a year ago and I question whether Memphis can be this good over the course of an entire season. I certainly don't think they can keep up with Durant and Westbrook in crunch time scoring. The Clippers have an outside shot, but their bigs have to play much better defensively than they have in the past. Someone other than Paul and Griffin need to step up as well. Crawford has played extremely well, but he needs to keep it up or Billups needs to play big for them to be contenders.

And I'm considering the Lakers an "incomplete" right now. They could really go either way. If they aren't substantially better by the trade deadline, I could see them making some big trades and completely blowing it up.

I agree.

I think if Memphis stays healthy, we have a great chance. But i'm sorta biased as a Grizz fan.

OKC.

If the Lakers can get their **** together then they'll have a chance but that's not looking very promising.

I think the shortened season was a little taxing on some guys, and believe it or not the young guys missed shots they were hitting all year. Our chances are as good as anyone's out West.

Also, I would expect the Spurs to make a move this year. I think it's the main reason they're starting Blair again to try and showcase him, plus some of the young guys who can score the ball. They're usually pretty good at finding the right pieces for their team, and I'm fairly certain they will make some move at some point to make the team better.

2 games away last year, with Game 6 being called pretty unfairly in the end does not mean they took a step back this year.

I think Memphis will hold to 1st seed till the end of the regular season so:

1. Grizzlies
2. Thunder
3. Spurs
4. Clippers

I agree with the final 4.

And injuries are a concern for everyone. Only 1 I worry who's whos been prone is Manu. TD/TP have both been (knock on wood) healthy since last year.

I still think we make a move to address our big man issue when Tim goes to the bench. I feel like if they made it that far in a shortened season, I see no reason why they can't with a full training camp with all the new guys who joined late, and a more spaced out schedule.

People forget this is the first year ZBO and Rudy Gay are actually playing together we Grizz fan's don't even know how good we are or how far will get with a healthy team.

Memphis is the type of team to get upset in the playoffs with no true star.

OKC. Not seeing them being on a tier all on their own this year though. I think the Spurs and Clippers will be right there with them.

The Lakers - remains to be seen. They could become this great powerhouse or they can just be stuck in the Memphis tier (although they are playing great, I just don't think it'll continue in this fashion).

It's hard to say... but I'd got with the first team to win 12 games in the post season.

I'm pulling for the Spurs at this point.. and also hoping LAL trades Pau and Nash and let Amare and Kobe rot in the 'Antoni system while Dwight heads off to Dallas in the offseason ;-)

I'm not saying The Spurs, I prefer being the underdog. I wish they would STOP playing like favorites so I won't get high expectations.

The past few years have been such a torture as a Spurs fan. This team is such a tease.

I'll be diplomatic and say OKC.
