What Addition Or Takeaway From The NBA Do You Think Will Make The League Better?

Franchise tag and get rid of the pay scale

I agree with franchise tag.

get the refs to call the plays and not the numbers on jerseys.

Hard cap and disable the use of zone defense and go back to man to man.

The latter is a dumb suggestion.

Less games, less playoff games.

Season is incredibly to long. When the reason just started and you already see teams taking games off, you know there's a problem.

It assures we find the best team. And then playoffs, the best team wins 53 percent of the time.

I like it this way.

It assures a lot of awful NBA games, exhausted players, and injuries.

I am sure the Warriors are very exhausted from their six days off.

Hard cap, make guaranteed money more like football. Sure there would be less trades but you would see a lot more parity.

I'm sure curry can't wait for the string of games that awaits his ankles.

Hard cap is an awful idea, the super teams carry the NBA. Since Mia, NBA has had it's best ratings ever.

I'd consider that argument if we didn't have a season from last year to compare injuries with.

The normal variation for injuries in a non-compacted season was the same as a compacted season.

Less games = less injuries and less exhaustion, and harder played games. It's not complicated.

Half the games I watch during the season these guys are just chilling, hence why so many fans dont watch until layoffs. But those same fans love college ball. Intensity during 80% of regular season games is a joke

Bring back the trash talking and the physical play of basketball like during the 90s, referees are too quick to call the T's for the littlest things.

Less, maybe, but statistically it's the same ratio.

I am not sure what games you have been watching this year, but the regular season has been great. Chippy as hell for most games.

Get rid of superteams.

Disperse the star talent around the league, which will bring back big rivalries. The NBA is hurting right now, and that's the only way it'll get back to being interesting for more than 7 cities.

I think the NBA would be better if the cheerleaders wore less clothing. Since a majority of the fans are heterosexual males, I think this change would make a majority of the fans happier.

Just because the super teams carry the league doesn't make them best for everyone. While it benefits the owners because they make more money, fans who actually give a crap and aren't just interested because of them would prefer a league without super teams. I don't give two ***** about the owners, so I want a league that's best for the fans, meaning a hard cap and no super teams.

it sucks, but outside of getting rid of free agency i dont see how this will ever stop. and i'm not sure it even should

if guys want to win bad enough they will take less money to team up. i think i hate the idea of telling a team your "too good" more then the idea of superteams themselves.

Put the heat against the lakers and than put GS Vs mil on a another channel, see which game everyone watches.

Hard cap is garbage. No one wants to watch a bunch of average teams. And no one wants a bad contract that screws them for years.

Definitely less whistles blown. I'm a fan of the physical, trash talking days. Less fouls should be called; let the players play. The players should determine the outcome of the game.

Remove Joey Crawford.

Evaluate each ref annually, fire the one with the most inconsistency. Replace him with a new ref.

Same cycle every year, this would improve refacing quality.

I def want the Sonics back, but I dont want it to be the Kings who are taken away. You are basically undoing the problem you are solving. I would take away a team who has no real history (Charlotte, Minnesota, maybe New Orleans etc...) I would take away the 90 second clock between lineup intros and the tipoff. makes the league kinda look like a kids league ran by the refs who are volunteer dads. haha okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but i think its stupid.

Kick players that don't earn their numbers and checks out (i.e. Kevin Love etc.) of the league. Hard nosed, all out hustle ball with less whistles. Sign it up.

Yeah because playing defensive schemes to perfection is that easy..... everyone can do it. Let's go back to a time when you had to stick with your assignment even if he couldn't shoot for ****, because else you get called for illegal defense. It's a damn Team game not a one and one show, even if many people would like that.

the divisions need to be realigned by time zone...the northwest is a geographic/travel nightmare & a competitive disadvantage to the teams stuck in it

a new commissioner would be nice, too

yeah & get rid of the boring super/favorite son team mentality

Personally, I think there's a combination of too little talent for too many teams. I thought skipping college was bad, and I think the one and done college/overseas rule is bad. Now you're getting too many kids who are immature, used to be catered too on a whole new level, and don't know how to play as a team. That's making the league worse.
