According to some people he`s not even a HOF player yet or never will be? So what does he have to do for all of you people who think`s he`s garbage to be truly considered among the greats?

He probably gets in now, but it depends on the voters as to whether he gets in on the first ballot or not. Given longevity and increases stats he'll be in the HOF anyway. This is a non-topic.

Nobody seriously genuinely thinks this. If someone told you they do, they were at least lying to you, and at most lying to themselves. Just forget about it, it's nothing.

He's already a hofer. He's not a top ten great though. Or top 20. He'd have to retire now to not make the top 20/10 for his career though.

Hes def not a top 10 player of all time already. Hes a hof'er for sure already, but he needs to add more to his resume before he's top 10. He will be when its all said and done most likely, but as of now hes not there yet.

I suppose it is arguable he's not in the top 10 (though he's guaranteed top 12 right not).

Out of curiosity, who's in your top 10?

He's been a HOFer since 2008.

by 2008 he had a finals appearance, the MVP, a gold medal, and a scoring championship. those accolades don't get left out of the hall.

Who is saying he's not a HOFer? He could die tomorrow and he'd be a first-ballot lock for hte HOF. Is there seriously anybody who thinks that he's not a HOF player? i've never heard that.

Actually, he got the MVP in 2009, not 2008. Just a minor correction.

Multi year MVP, best player in the league for 3-6 seasons depending on who you ask, top 3 player on both ends of the court. Finals MVP. Some of the best regular season + Advanced stats in basketball history for half a decade. Olympic Gold, etc. etc. And a player with no negatives in the media circuit outside of leaving Cleveland in what some considered an over the top fashion. Definitely the extreme low end of a negative when compared to past legends.

Show me one player in NBA history with his resume that was not a first ballot HOF. You can't. It can't and could never exist. The question is will he be unanimous or not.

James is HOF now.. My issue is he is now thought of as a equal to kobeand mj.. He isn't. As great as James is, he is the most mentality weak Super star I have ever seen. It took forever for him to decide to raise his skill level.. The lost to the Mavs ashamed him enough to work on his flaws. He is HOF, but no where close to Kobe or Jordan. He has to imo put a dagger in the league like Jordan, and I don't think he can do it for 7 more years due to him relying on athleticism more than basketball gumption.

He's already considered a "future" hall of famer.
Was this thread created so everyone will gush over lebron and profess unconditional love for him? The "decision" is in the rear view. Everyone. ( except for Cleveland) is over it. No one (except Cleveland) hates lebron. I feel his performance in last years playoffs cemented him as the best player in the game. He didn't wait for the torch to be handed to him. He came to L.A and took it.
