How do you have Oscar Robertson, no-title Karl Malone, Moses Malone, and 1-9 in the Finals Jerry West along with LeBron already ahead of Kobe?

Well, every dumbass has his day.

If you are going straight by individual dominance then Wilt would be the greatest, no?

I debated with Blitz a LONG time ago, the guy has 1 mission in life. To downplay the new era and worship MJ's era. In doing so he punishes Kobe because he hates the comparison.

so he is a 30-6-5 career on 50% fg. I think 30-23-4 on 54% is much better.

I would certainly rank Robinson and Garnett ahead of Moses (though I love that Moses is as high on the list as he is... he is underrated).

And Stockton should be top-twenty. He was better at his position than was Karl Malone, and Karl is in the top-20 here.

I can't respect any list that doesn't have Stockton in the top twenty.

if we use advanced stats then David Robinson is also top 3 player all time. I do agree MJ is near the top or at the top for alot of stats/advanced stats. But stats are only a part of the things people (except for you) look at when ranking a list like this, and that's how it should be.
So what you said was: if MJ had no championships in his career but kept his stats, he would still be ranked 1 ahead of Kareem who has 6 championships won. Doesn't quite fit.

. BILL RUSSELL and Wilt was going against a bunch of 6'2 CENTERS . come on bro

Who told you this? I'm so tired of hearing this $#!T There were some big fawking players back in they day. Guys were a little smaller at SF and SG, but their centers could bang with centers today, and I mean, look at centers in this league right now. Chuck Hayes? Ben Wallace? These guys are small.

Check out BBR and look up the guys who were leading the league in rebounds. Wilt and Bill were playing against guys their size (well, maybe Wilt had a couple inches on them). but Yao Ming had a few inches on the guys he played against and I didnt see him grabbing 18 boards a game, let alone 25.

Come on bro... give the old timers credit. Wilt, in his final season, was out rebounding Kareem in his prime. That's gotta tell you something.

Id agree with the entire top 10 if switched Kobe and Oscar.

Why does Oscar get so much love?? Okay sure throw him in top 20 but why is he always cracking top 10. He played when the competition was at its worst and he never was "mind blowing" by any means he was very good but competition was slim. Which matters a lot imo...You could take a lesser name in other eras and hed dominate that time period. Triple double average? that's awesome but he's not auto top 10..

It's crazy to think Tim Duncan is really a top 10 player of all time arguably...I never really appreciate when watching him that out of the entire time NBA has been around I'm witnessing one of the top 10 ever. That's crazy.

I think one thing to remember about these top lists as they are supposed to gauge career body of work, not just talent. Which is why Kobe should be ahead of Lebron at this point. Not saying it will end that way when their careers are up. Also I thought Shaq was too low on that list. Oscar as usual is way too high, he is not a top 10 player.

This is a good point. I think it's because he truly is "The Big Fundamental" and never blows you away with flashiness or sheer dominance, he is just insanely consistent (minus free throws ;)) and intelligent.

Yup. Malone was grossly overrated here. Which is ironic because he's usually underrated. When he retired he was the GOAT PF and now people routinely rank him around 4th or 5th.
