Sėmple question.... Every team is about 10 games in. So who is your team surprise player so far?

For the Pistons, its obviously Kyle Singler. He recently started in place of Stuckey and he is averaging about 14ppg as a starter. I'm sure most people didn't view him as an NBA guy out of Duke, but he's proving me and others wrong so far.

I think obvioulsy has to be Mayo for Mavs fans. Although I'm awesome and knew he'd do work.

Crowder is up there as well for a 2nd round pick dude is a player in the making.

I'm really liking what Jordan Hill has been doing. Pure energy, hustle, creates extra possessions, and goes hard 100%.

Heck, you can add Kobe to the list as well. Who would have thought that he would be playing lights out with high efficiency and productivity? He is having one of the better seasons of his career - stat wise.

Easily Andray Blatche. I thought he'd be a decent guy off the bench but instead he's been excellent on the offensive end in limited play, averageing 9 points and 5 rebounds in only 17 minutes of play. Just the other night he went 11/12 with 22 points in 19 minutes, hell of a night.

Knicks...My man Sheeeeeeeeeeed!!

Still shooting well from outside the arc and inside the lane at the young age of 38.

Kevin Martin for OKC. I always knew he was a strong shooter, but he's ****ing ridiculous. Such a quick shot and it seems like it goes in every single time.

Around the league, I'll say AK47. I thought it was an underrated signing this offseason, and it was. He's been awesome.

His 3 point shooting really hasnt been that great, he's only shooting 25%. Its actually more of his offense from mid range and inside the lane thats been impressive (which he's shooting 46%).

Rasheed can still play in this league, when you watch him you see why he complains that young guys dont know how to play the post, just an incredibly smart player. J Kidd also.

Dante Cunningham for sure. He's averaging nearly 10pts on 54% shooting off the bench while being relentless on defense.

I agree with Singler. Drummond is playing better than I thought he would too, but Singler was a 2nd round pick. Hes been impressive.

This. Drummond needs more minutes, and I'm not surprised by how well he has played in his limited role, I just hope he can grow as a player.

I'm not really surprised by any of the players on the Knicks other than Sheed. I didn't think he would be playing so much early on, then again I wasn't expecting Amare out for so long. He has been surprisingly solid for an old guy who had been out of the league for 2 years.

Hasheem Thabeet, he's been a very solid backup Center...never misses his defensive rotations, contests shots at the rim, rebounds, even jumped in the passing lanes a couple times lol. He's really responded to our team and coaching.

for the Heat Rashard Lewis has to be the most surprising. his knees seem healthy and he's found his shooting touch again after 2 terrible seasons. but of course his defense and rebounding are still garbage.

Sam Young. I think he might have been our best addition of the off-season.

I have to say J.Kidd this dude effects the game in so many ways its crazy, every move he makes is so precise unlike J.R Smith at times...

I'm really disappointed in Thompson I thought the guy was going to have a break out year he's offense is killer I guess it's just Golden State Curse...

Kyle Singler. Writers had talked him up about how much his experience in the Euro-league was proving how good he was, but you never believe it until you see it. A second round pick playing in our starting lineup and averaging 14ppg is nice. Drummond needs more minutes, when he does he may end up being even more shocking.

Rasheed Wallace and Jason Kidd. Wallace has been improving on a game by game basis, getting increased minutes and playing pretty well on both sides of the court. For a guy who didn't play in preseason at all and had been removed from the league for 2 years, he's been a very pleasant surprise.

And I don't think too many Knick fans thought Jason had this much left in his tank. He's been a MAJOR factor to the teams early season success.

I guess Jimmer is the biggest surprise for the Kings. It's amazing how much better he looks so far this year. He's way more confident with the ball. Still a terrible defender, but he's improved on that, too.

Our other surprise is probably how Isaiah Thomas appears to have regressed...

Minny - Shved (great court vision, high basketball iq, great hands, passig abilities) //and Budinger before his injury//

Lakers - Gasol (pretty much bouncing back from last year's forgettable performance) & Jordan Hill (i'm sure he'll turn out to be a great backup C)

J Kidd, Wallace is good up in the post, but I can't stand when he takes those ridiculous 3s. Makes me more angry then I was at some of JRs shots last year.

Clippers - Matt Barnes

He has been a very good bench piece providing energy, hustle, rebounding and even scoring. We are getting a very good discount with him.

I would rather move forward with a Barnes/Hill platoon at SF and get rid of Butler. Butler is too streaky with his scoring and doesn't provide much else.
