no. dirk will come back and be number 1 option. mayo's stats are inflated at this point

His stats will stay the same when Dirk comes back

Dirk makes his job way easier. Pick and roll with Dirk is lethal

OJ will have way more open shots, he is right now creating his own shots

He definitely could.

CP3 - Kobe - Durant - Griffin - Dwight

Westbrook - Harden - Gay - Randolph - Duncan

Mayo - Al Jeff/Marc Gasol

My guess so far

possibly as a reserve

I'd say no..

Unless Lin starts, the "China" vote doesn't matter. Fans only vote for starters...

Not that it should matter anyway since he's American...

Nope. Harden is making it if it is close since the game is in Houston this year.

He is also averaging 2.6 TOs, and an asst/TO ratio of 1.11 - not great for a combo guard. He is playing very well so far this year, but I don't think he will make the cut.

too many guards in the west, but if he keeps up those numbers he has a chance

Ask this question when things stabilize. Right now Jamal Crawford looks like more of an All-Star than D-Wade.

Absolutely not.

I know! He has surprised me so much!

He and Carlisle go over film every single night and they have solo practices after if it isn't a game night

He said he is way more focused and out to prove everyone wrong

Obviously, since none of these PSD posters haven't even seen more than 1 Mavericks game (1st game at LA)

He is efficient too, check the stats

Brandon Roy and Eric Gordon averaged the same stats and people thought they were All Stars on here

He is arguably the 4th best SG RIGHT NOW

Not if he plays the way he did tonight. Too much chucking cost his team some serious momentum in the 3rd quarter.

Backcourt: Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Kobe Bryant, James Harden, OJ Mayo
Frontcourt: Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Blake Griffin, Rudy Gay, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, Andre Igoudala, Tim Duncan

I could live with that.

Dallas has actually been much better than expected without Dirk ND Marion.

My guess is Parker will pick up his play and likely have a better shot at that spot vs Mayo.

Okur and Boozer made it one year... so Mayo on the AS team isn't that crazy.

OJ Mayo is more deserving of that All-Star bid than James Harden or Russell Westbrook might I add.

OJ team just needs to win more games that's all and he will get in

OJ definitely is worthy of making it this year if he keeps it up. He's having an outstanding year.
