When they have to, yeah.

Already beat the Celtics?

bucketss
11-15-2012, 07:27 PM
they made it to the finals two years in a row losing to elite teams in the regular season.

No the Heat can't. They are a lottery pick team.

Depending on the match up.

They can't match up against big teams. They'd need Lebron and Wade to play possessed to win against big teams for a series.

Yes they can. They should bench Wade til playoffs and actually stay healthy. Im kind of kidding only.

They should trade Wade for an elite big. I'm thinking Tyson Chandler or Demarcus Cousins.

kswissdaf
11-15-2012, 07:32 PM
No

SteBO
11-15-2012, 07:37 PM
This is a silly question. Yes they can, and those saying no keep falling into the same trap year after year. It's 8 games. C'mon.

I don't know if Kings would do it but if they would deal Tyreke and Cousins for Wade I think Heat should pounce on that.

Once again, proof positive that you should have to earn the right to create threads. This is about THE stupidest thread I have seen this year.

Its early as long as they in the playoffs 1-4 seed in the East they good. the Esat is not Brutal like the west. In the west you cant fall behind the pack.

Blitzbolt
11-15-2012, 07:46 PM
They don't need to because the East don't elite teams maybe NY and Celtics but that's it.

ldawg
11-15-2012, 07:52 PM
Its the same team + better shooters they good. They are no smaller than last season Joel still there. The flooping calls just took some wind out the sail but they ok come playoff.

P Harvy
11-15-2012, 07:53 PM
Tyson Chandler is an elite big?

Yes?? He's 7 foot. He's a defensive animal and would be able to protect the rim.. Which is something Miami has had absolutely none of.

He'd be the perfect fit because he wouldn't need to score..

Then Allen slides into the starting SG role.

P Harvy
11-15-2012, 07:55 PM
Really the only thing the Heat are missing is size. They get killed by bigger teams. If you had a front court of LeBron-Bosh-Chandler/DMC or any other elite big that would be a better trio in my opinion.

Wade would be the better player probably than any big traded for but the fact of the matter is that the Heat team would probably be better off.. Especially since Wade is declining so fast.

 I think we need to have a post limit to make threads from now on. Then again, even people with thousands of posts make stupid threads, so perhaps it should be an IQ test instead.

I don't think the Knicks would do that. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Tyson is better than Wade, I just think he fits in with the team better than Wade would. He was arguably the Knicks MVP last season.

xxplayerxx23
11-15-2012, 08:19 PM
 ofcourse not, its not like they have the best player in the game with the another top 5-8 player in the game, with a top 5 PF and the greatest 3 point shooter off the bench or anything in that nature.

I agree. I doubt they would do it. I'm just throwing out a couple names.

If the Heat had a legit 7 footer it would be game over

not even close. someone said the wolves should trade love for gasol and get rid of rubio and make Barea the starting pg. and he was a wolves fan

and what reason do the Knicks have to do that? We already have a crowded back court and we'd be losing our defensive anchor

I hate the Heat and hope the answer to this question is no but who are we kidding? They are getting better and better each year...

JasonJohnHorn
11-15-2012, 08:59 PM
Honestly? Not right now. As long as Dexter Pittman is on the shelf, they are not in contention. I'm surprised they've won any games without him in the rotation.

Serioulsy... no, they can't, not with Wade and Bosh playing at this level. It's early in the season, so I expect Wade and Bosh to right the ship, but right now, they are not playing at an elite. level. I may be overly critical here of Bosh, who is playing well offensively, but frankly, as good a rebounder as LBJ is, he should not be leading your team in rebounds. Bosh needs to step up on the glass and give the team what they desperately need from him.

Hasn't Wade been dealing with nagging injuries recently ? which could be a result in his decline lately as he is not fully fit. And as for trading him, I could never see that happening as he is the face of the franchise. And this coming from a Knick fan. Wade my not be elite but the Heat are in the east.

Miami is fine... This is a rigged league, you just have to keep that in mind.

Loses & wins are not what you think they are, just sit back and enjoy the season... The script writers create drama, like a soup opera; so enjoy!

No they can't, they are just that bad..

xxcubs22xx
11-16-2012, 06:20 AM
OBVIOUSLY they can...

Will they continue to? As long as they make their shots and stay healthy they are elite. But health is huge.

Yes they can

they will turn it up when they need to

I hope that this is what the OP was implying:

as Ive watched the games this year in the league Im seeing something that hasnt been the case for some time now.
The younger, less star studded teams ,seem to be closing the talent gap with deeper more team oriented play.
These young teams are RUNNING in a gear some of these vet teams do not seem to have a gear for.
Its a fun year in the association to say the least.Miami is still elite, but elite doesnt seem to have the same meaning this year.

They have Lebron.

They can beat every team.

No the Heat can't. They are a lottery pick team.

This! They might make the playoffs as an 8th seed but will lose to the first seeded Bobcats.

Im_in_Mia_bish pretty much has the right idea. Trade the franchise and acquire Eddy Curry to Lead the Franchise, along with Adam Morrison, Ricky Davis, Rodney Stuckey and Michael Sweetney. Then the elite teams will fall.

Dallas already proved that against LA this season.

Im_in_Mia_bish
11-16-2012, 05:20 PM
Oh the thought of eddy curry working on his McDonald's menu during practice just screams #1 seed with that lineup!
