We have a tie for first place for the AL Reliever of the Year Award

It's between Fernando Rodney and Johnson of Baltimore.

It's an individual award. Why penalize Rodney because his team couldn't get it done even though he was the better relief pitcher?

Rodney even though i think he had an outlier year. Coming into the season i didnt think hed be able to stay closer the whole season. His track record played against him. ERA, FIP, and SIERA all were career best and at such an old age it was impossible to predict. Hats off to him though, this is no contest.
