View Full Version : Why are Kobe and Jordan great if they are only sucessful with Phil Jackson?

Why? There are guys that can succeed under multiple systems but Kobe and Jordan are not one of them. They are great players but how can we call them the best if they are only good in certain systems? Lebron has proven to be good regardless of coach but Kobe and Jordan can't say the same thing.

As we can see Kobe can't even beat average teams with 3 potential hall of famers by his side...is Kobe overrated? and should Phil be credited more for Jordan and Kobe's successes? Will Kobe and Jordan have 5 and 6 rings respectively without Phil Jackson?

IMO both players are the most overrated in NBA history, they are only as good as Phil Jackson takes them...both may not even have a single championship without Phil Jackson as their coach.

Your thoughts?

Aren't you the guy who keeps saying the Lakers suck because Kobe is old, Nash is old, Pau plays like he has sex before games, no bench, and Dwight sucks unless he's surrounded by shooters? Yes you are.

So tell me how is Kobe suppose to beat teams with such a pathetic roster?
