Phil Jackson is currently at the Lakers facility talking to management and walking around.

Let it happen. We all want it to. Pay him whatever it takes. The only question to me is how Nash works in the Triangle.

All he has to do is shoot. Nash in the role of Fisher and Dwight in the role of Bynum :speechless:

Jeanie Buss is pulling the strings now. She was mad at her brother about the Dwight trade going through without getting the extension first.

I would be shocked if pj is not the coach.

I hope they hire him, when miami beats the lakers in the finals it will be all the better, spo out coaching the zen master :)

Talk about minimizing talent. The triangle choke is a more apt way to describe what would happen to Nash.

Spo is not out coaching anyone . You could take spo's place and it wouldn't change the fact that the best player in the league is on your team

Don't encourage him. Otherwise his next 1k posts will consist of "lol", one or two word posts, or run on sentences. :p

JVG/Sloan

not really too interested in anybody else for these Lakers.

In all seriousness, the coach in the NBA doesnt matter that much. its a player driven League.

please tell me how many wins Splostra would have coaching the Bobcats?

Coach vs coach: Phil would torture him in the Finals. He will make him look like Mike Brown or worse. Lol

But Lebron is the difference maker between the 2. Heat > Lakers because of Lebron.

I think we have to get Phil now. Get Phil and Howard stays

Dwight always wants all kinds of things, but never seems to know what to do with any of em?

I still think J. Sloan would be the best coach for this team. Phil kinda faded on me during his last season with the Lakers. You could tell he was kinda disinterested.

Great opportunity for the Laker FO to lock up Howard with an extension. I can see the conversation now "Hey Dwight, You want Jackson? Well you got him but the Zen master has stated he will only un-retire if you agree to an extension" wink. Wink.
