Who do you think they hire, to ride the ship?

They have to keep Howard happy or he is gone.

Just like reporter Antonio Davis just stated, they need to beg Phil to come back.
That would be best case scenario.

First, you gotta make a call to PJ to make a pitch to him.

if that fails, maybe sloan or shaw

Phil is the only one who could possibly handle the egos and personalities of this team.

Pat Riley is well suited in his scumbag, "godfather", sleazebag, GM role and he's stated he'll never coach again, besides Jerry Buss hates him.

I think it'll be either Kenny Smith or Coach K.

Jerry Sloan would better for the team than Phil. His offense would fit more than the triangle, and I believe he could get them to work harder than Phil would. He'd simply be more motivated.

I love Phil, but he's only the second best fit for this team :D

Brain Shaw is the guy they should have hired after Jackson. Sloan is the best fit for the talent on the roster, though not the best fit for the egos. Jackson would likely be the best at handling egos, thoughi expect Nash wouldn't fit well into teh triangle, and Brown, well, he's a HOF coach, right? I expect he would get results.

Pat Riley is not even an option. And d'Antoni is a polarization of Brown.

I differ with most Lakers fans on who they want to hire. I'm really hoping for either Nate McMillen or Jerry Sloan. I love Phil, but I don't think Nash is a good fit for the triangle (this would also be the reason why not Shaw).

I think they'll end up hiring D'Antoni.

Sloan is the most logical choice, but I would LOOOVVVEEE PJ. He is so awesome.

No Nate McMillan option :pity:

PJ has a good chance. He also expressed interest in grooming a successor! :)
I do not want Mike D coaching my team.

I kinds favor Jerry Sloan more of Phil Jackson, but it's a very close poll race.
