I expect Miami to take a look, but I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see the Lakers get him. Damn....

Would love to have him on the Knicks, but there is no room for him.

I don't think there's room on the knicks for him but I don't want him to go to LA or Miami...

I think SA will do their due diligence with this as well. They've had interest in him before, and now that he's willing to take the minimum I'd be really shocked if they don't again. Well not shocked, more like upset. He'd get a good amount of playing time I'd imagine too.

We have no room what so ever.. We have Shump and Amar'e still coming back from injuries..

Yo that pic in your sig is tight is that pat ewing in the back I see they need to get him working with the knicks doing something anything.

Spurs could definitely use him but would have to dump Blair off somewhere first. They won't go into the luxury tax, and signing Martin would do that.

Miami will probably be the call.
Boston would be a nice fit too, he'd certainly help their rebounding.
The Knicks made so much sense a while ago, but they'd have to cut Sheed, Thomas or Copeland. Too bad James White is guaranteed.
Spurs, *Pacers, OKC are all good landing spots.
If he wants a bigger role -
Sixers, Rockets, Wolves (with love out)

At his age, I don't think too many teams are going to be calling him until a month or 2 before the playoffs, but I think he'll get a call if teams need an energy player who is still very good defensively.

I think the problem is he's older now and has a limited skillset on the offensive side of the ball. That along with being direct and in your face sometimes are liabilities that teams don't want anymore. Maybe when he was 25 and teams still wondered about what they could get out of him if they coached him up, but teams know he's older now and can only give them what he has...

He's a good shotblocker, rebounder, and versatile defender but that's about it now?

Martin Lawrence?

Throw in the fact his attitude, his 39% free throw shooting, his laziness on both sides of the ball, and measly 5.2 ppg last year; is the reason he is unemployed at the moment. Knicks stop looking at this guy, he's washed.

I can see the Lakers taking him and playing Jamison at SF and him at PF off of the bench.

Boston would be the best fit imo, but Lakers need all the depth they can get

His people have apparently contacted the Wolves a couple times, but the Wolves have no interest.

I think Kenyon should be able to play somewhere, but I just dont think Minnesota is going to attempt to make a quick fix with Love out, when Love will be back in just about a month or so anyways.

I agree, even though he is a headcase, I would like to see Kenyon Martin in the Lakers for a season

What attitude? He was a Net and I know he doesnt have an attitude, he is a gentle giant. He has a attitude on the court but that isnt what he is like off the court. He is a good teamate.

It was a joy watching them together. I hated them when we had to play the Nets though. lol

The notion that he helped the Clippers last year is false. He had some moments but he was our most inefficient player last season. Turiaf and Hollins are both > Martin. I also don't think he was willing to take the minimum when teams still had it to offer. Yes he does have an attitude, he refused to go back into the game vs the Spurs in the playoffs and got into it with Del Negro. I know that will led to jokes on this forum, but it also probably contributed to him having no offers.

Miami or San Antonio. I'd like him on LAL, but there really isn't any point when we already have Jordan Hill and Jamison

He isnt coming to the Nets he said on Twitter he wanted to be a Net, and if he was always willing to take the vet min they probably would have given it to him if they wanted him but they gave it to Blatche and Childress.

Miami needs to call this guy up ASAP and play him at center.

Otherwise they will likely end upwatching him snag rebounds away from Chris Bosh when the Lakers and Heat meet up in the finals.

LAC would be good though... and I think he might have more to offer NY than Sheed at this point.

I'm a longtime fan of K-Mart. After STAT went down, I know K-Mart was kicking himself.

He's definitely better than Kurt Thomas. But at this point I'd rather keep Kurt around for the role of reserve big just because he's a better teammate, and won't stir things up like K-Mart has in the past.

Don't think there's enough room for him on this roster with Dwight, Pau, Jordan HIll and Sacre, and with Jamison who can play the 4 as well, and don't forget Earl Clark.

If anything, we need more guard scoring and 3 pt shooting off the bench.

Why not?

He's just gives you a legit enforcer, he's played with Melo, JR and Camby in Denver, so the familiarity with some of those guys is already there.

Seriously, if KMart goes to the Knicks, you guys would be the Denver Nuggets of a few yrs ago with him, Melo, JR and Camby.

J-Kidd would be the Chauncey of that team.
