they dont even have a timetable for him.

Remember 2 months ago he was going to be out "3 weeks" just for "precautionary" reasons?

I have alot of doubts about Bynum. He finally puts together a healthy season and now he needs like 8 months to recover.

The 6'ers will come out with revenge on there mind. But I love the Knicks consistency, they've yet to trail in there first 2 games.. This game will say a lot about the Knicks if they can repat there performances.

Maybe it's do to the fact that the knicks just beat the 76ers and teams don't usually loss to the same team, back to back .

Melo can be so frustrating, if he drove every time he took a bad shot, he could be the best scorer in the NBA

SteBO

^Just hope that he doesn't revert to jacking jumpers consistently without them being within the offensive flow.

^Just hope that he doesn't revert to jacking jumpers consistently without them being within the offensive flow.

That doesnt really concern me too much. With Felton and Kidd moving the ball it doesnt kill the flow, but at the same time, they arent the best shots.

He's too good in the paint and on the elbow, he doesnt need to jack threes

iDefend10
11-05-2012, 08:40 PM
Melo needs to get into the post more and work some post moves! His turn around J is money I don't see why he doesn't use it more.

Is it that hard for you to give the Knicks a compliment? You got to celebrate your Championship in Miami. Just give credit where it is due.

Who says Amare will prevent us? If he sees the team winning I can't see how he would have a problem coming off the bench.

2.Knicks
3.Boston
4.Brooklyn unfortunately

Knicks looked good in general under Woodson and once they got an actual PG.

They were 9-2 with Amare under Woodson.

I don't think anyone expected this sort of dominance from NY, but the truth is NY has been dominant under Woody ever since last year. They were 18-6 with a +10ppg differential against their toughest part of their schedule.

I was thinking during the game that the Nets should have made AK a priority and signed him over Wallace. He's quickly becoming a favorite in Minnesota.

Also, trolls, please shut up about Brooklyn. They have played all of 2 games.

Finally, the Wolves deserve some credit here. They may not have the flashiest names, but the guys play for the name on the front of the jersey and not the back. J.J. Barea should expect a flopping fine, but I'm sure the win is worth it.

Johnson in now way is a leader. Deron I am on the fence about. I really am. He seems to have fallen off his top 2 PG arena since he ran his coach off. I am wondering if that is a coincidence, or just that he had an injury filled season with a trade followed by playing for a terrible team. Either way, I question his motivation at times. There are always some players on terrible teams that still put up unreal numbers, but maybe early success, and then failure, took some day to day motivation from him, and he will be the same Deron we were used to. The defense is slowly progressing, which I'm somewhat happy about. Brook Lopez for one is much more aggressive and definitely making stronger contests, and the Nets bench played beyond solid defensively. I think it's going to be a learning process to eventually become an above average team on defense, but it's going to take a lot of time, effort, and commitment by the players.

I do not think the Nets will be a top 18 defensive team. I told DMF this, and we made a sig bet over it. However, out east, I still think the offense will slip inside the top 10, and that means enough wins to fight for HCA.

I really liked what I saw out of DWill today. Easily the best player on the court for the Nets. 18 points, 13 assists. The one thing that stood out was that he was constantly talking and encouraging his teammates. I saw him mouth, "Don't Let Up, Keep Fighting" a few times when there was a few seconds on the shot clock. I really do thing he is trying out there to be the leader just because he knows how important this year is for him. He called out his teammates in the offseason as well.

About the game, learning experience for the Nets. They don't have a lot of experience with each other so I expected something like this to happen. Not having G-Force hurt us and the Timberwolves are so damn energetic. They are a team I really like. I like the Mavs team. We have to play them next so it should be a good game.

Miami Heat lost games in 2010, I am actually happy about this loss. We got to learn from it, if we want to win a championship we got to learn from stuff like this. The earlier the better. I think this is a blessing. Thank god for this loss.

Yea sure, nice try. You're happy about that loss? Who are you trying to fool? Yea sure, teams lose games. But you just lost to a Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio less Wolves team, and blew a 22 point lead. These losses are the kind that are tough to rebound from, and make no mistake, the Nets will have that loss lurking for a while.

That's going to be one heck of a game. Very exciting. Mavs did a great job getting much younger and very athletic. This team is very hungry and plays with so much energy. Its been a very nice change of pace for mavs fans. Last year was not much fun.

Life is about learning, rome wasnt built in a day. And a baby just doesnt learn to live by itself. Tonight was pretty historic it was kind of like a one legged man beating the fastest runner in the world in a race. The Nets are one of the top teams in the world, but I am very happy about this loss. We are .500 right now and we have to learn.
Tonight we learned something, nothing against Minnesota but come on nobody expected them to beat the Nets tonight. And Nets didnt take them seriously. They were without Love a top 10 PF and Rubio a top 20 pg. So I understand it. in 2010 the 12-70 Nets beat the Boston Celtics who went to go onto the Finals a few months later.
Once again I thank god for this loss, we needed this to learn.

and in all honesty Pekovic is pretty overated, he couldnt stop Lopez and he picked up quick fouls because Lopez is unguardable.

The Nets would 0-2, if it wasn't for the refs that called the game in favor of the Nets two nights ago, just to please the crowd because of their first home game ever and Hurricane Sandy.

do you know how illegal that is? and why would they care how the fans felt?
