Really surprised nobody's talking about this. Would love to get some Hornets' fans perspectives. We all know what concussions have done to players in the other major sports. Does Williams really think its worth risking the future of Anthony Davis just a few games into his career? Or is the NBA taking the concussion rules too far? Even MLB has a 7 day concussion rule, and that doesn't have nearly the physical contact on a day to day basis.

Concussions are huge at every level now. I have to take a concussion certification test just to be able to coach at the high school level now. Every student has to take an impact test to set their baseline. It's serious business. Even Monty admits he's being "a baby"

I didn't know Williams was a doctor?

Safety first. Maybe he's good to play, maybe not. It's likely that he is ok to play, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I dont think the NBA needs a "policy", but Anthony Davis should be MEDICALLY cleared to play anything whether that be one day, one week, or one month.
