No real surprises here except Stern and Silver are on the right side this time. ;)

Seriously though, if other mods think this should be closed, let's do it. This is really a political forum thread.

Screw Obama making same promises from 2008 ..still waiting!

you don't fix the **** hole we were in in 2 or 4 years. Plus, his ideals (the whole hope and change of culture) are NOT things that occur in 4 and hell, nor 8 years. What he promised was a change in culture. Hence why the ones that don't want that change being so rabid.

From your comment, it seems you just want candidates to keep telling lies after lies...just new lies so to accommodate and to make it seem as if the they're adding more to their promises.

I'll be honest, I don't think Obama did great. He could have done more...especially in those 2 first years when the Democrats had a lot of control. Unfortunately, he focused on stopping the recession...which all that happened was that it was slowed down.

You can get mad at what a pastor said in reaction against racism in America and then overlook a man that ran away from his country when his countrymen are at war and a man that spent 28 years in business exploiting American workers and shipping jobs away to other country. Look at Romney's generation, they always run from America when it's uncomfortable...but many of you will be rather mad at Rev Wright though

You can't even spell properly. Why do we let ignorant people vote? Romney made fun of the Hurricane, he claims that he never did, he wrote off 47% of Americans, he will continue what Bush did, which is driving us into the ground. He lies and lies, he doesn't know what he is doing, but you are prepared to vote for him? Also, did you really think that Obama was gonna change everything in 4 YEARS??? He already is creating jobs, and brought the unemployment rate below below 8% and it will continue to go down.

A) Mindlessly believe the lies that mainstream media feed you - considering they are mostly subsidiaries of corporations benefiting from right wing tax cuts anyway.

B) Are war mongers - led by fear and ignorance - blindly hating and voting for the right based on your insecurities.

C) You are rich. You are old. ( for these people - it's rational and excused).

D) Hate progress.

It doesn't matter. Politicians on the federal level are interchangeable.

Democrats or Republican = Crips or Bloods

Any politician that doesn't speak out at the very least against the Patriot act, the Federal Reserve, and the Military industrial complex and doesn't demand a full independent investigation into 9-11 are in the pockets of the power elite that run this world.

Being out spent by the power elite while being made to look like a fool by the media smear campaign. All mainstream media are all under like six parent companies.

I don't agree with all Mr. Paul's views. But at least he has the heart to ask questions. Never trust any entity that refuses to provide any clarity on demand. No person or group has ever done something ethical while insisting on doing so in complete secrecy.

I have no issues sharing why I'm voting for Obama after you tell me why you are voting FOR Romney. And don't say he balanced the budget, he's required by law to do that. And don't say education reform because Mass was #1 in education before he got there. The changes in education he favors are the exact opposite of the reasons why his state was so successful. Massachusetts has the highest test scores in the country because they have the strongest teachers' unions, the lowest class size, and the highest teacherar pay. His schools are so good for the very reasons he claims aren't important.

The only people who should be Republicans are old rich people.

No, absolutely no one should be a Republican. They are a vile bunch of holes who suppress the vote for political gain, adhere to economic theories that benefit the rich and have been proven to be counterproductive, believe government should stay out of people's lives unless it involves a woman's choice or unions or voting right or any of the other issues that they favor. Could go on and on.

Anyone who self-identifies as a Republican with the Republican party getting worse and worse each day should seriously reflect on their own sanity.

And Pat Riley giving money to Romney gives me yet another reason to root against the Heat.

The funny part is, is that theres going to be a new president elect in 2 days.

Obama is gonna win again simply cause there are too many idiots in this nation and the fact that he's black means EVERY SINGLE black person in USA will vote for him without knowing a damn thing about politics.

Once people realize that Obama's rules only help those in poverty and the illegals of the nation, US will be back on track. All Obama does is give the poor food stamps and unemployment fees for those THAT ARE NOT EVEN TRYING TO FIND A JOB using the middle class and elite class tax money!

And Pat Riley giving money to Romney gives me yet another reason to root against the Heat.

this is the domefavors version of politics

I guess Reagan and Washington were insane then.

Reagan was a piece of ****, but at least he wasn't as extreme as these lunatics on the right. The republican party of today is full of racists and servants to the wealthy.

You forgot to mention the Dream Act which allowed illegal immigrants already living in America to become legal just so Obama can get their vote lol.

Anybody that thinks that about Reagan doesn't know anything about him. And there are only idiots on the left that try to pin racism on people on the right.

In an election this close, you owe it to the country to vote for the superior of the two candidates that could win.

You can try.

Ronald Reagan's proxy army, the Contras. For eight years they were responsible for atrocities against the people in Nicaragua. He called them freedom fighters and compared them to the founding fathers.

targeting health care clinics and health care workers for assassination

kidnapping civilians

torturing civilians

executing civilians, including children, who were captured in combat

raping women

indiscriminately attacking civilians and civilian houses

seizing civilian property

burning civilian houses in captured towns

Do you want more?
