Reason for mike brown not to be fired if lakers continue their losing streak .

wow, not that it seems like he'll be out for a long time but this is a set back to a team desperate for some cohesion on the court. when it was said to just be a bruise i thought he'd only miss a game or 2.

even if he's out for a long time....all of you need to chill out. even without Nash, the Lakers still has more talent that 99% of the teams in the NBA. the only team that can compare to the Lakers in terms of talent is Miami.

lol, please

I'm not a lakers fan but something tells me all these haters will regret the **** they talk. Lakers are the best franchise in basketball. I never sleep on Mitch.

Well... this is just bolstering Nash case for MVP as the Lakers have yet to win a game without him in the line up ;-)

Without Nash, both the Spurs and the Thunder have more talent than the Lakers.

Carry on.

No, according to the script, Mike Brown gets fired midway into the season, whereupon the Lakers will be about 10 games out of first... at which point Phil Jackson returns to coach the rest of the way. The Lakers fight back to get the second seed in the West and go on to win the NBA championship. Look, it's a Hollywood script, anyone could write it. :D

Mitch always has something up his sleeve and always seems to get the better of the deals...gasol will be dealt for some athleticism on the wing

Bring in Delonte

Him and Artest is too much crazy on one team. I can only imagine the hijinks that would occur. They would be better off with Iverson.

Who would play PF? Jamison??

Even without a good point guard, the Lakers have no excuse not to perform well. When Kobe goes down with Nash, they can worry. Unfortunately for people who don't like the Lakers, though, it will take a mortal wound to keep Kobe out.

Somehow he'll get Josh Smith.
