And you have to understand, I couldn't stand the Blue Devils so that compounded the disgust.

It's like... of ALL the players at ALL the schools Knight had to fall in love with, it's HIM?!

2012 playoffs: After knocking off the top seed Bulls in round 1, the 8th seed Sixers took Boston to 7 games in a tough, even series where each team won every other game.

Paul Pierce gets injured with about 4 minutes to go in game 7 and leaves the game. The Sixers fought back all game and were down by 1 at this point I believe. All signs pointed to the Sixers actually pulling this off and advancing to the conference finals as an 8 seed. 4 minutes away.

Then Rondo randomly starts draining threes and going MJ on us. Plays some of the best 4 minutes of ball I've ever seen. Season over. Just like that. There was nothing we could do to answer.

Soul = Crushed.

When Syracuse was robbed of national championships twice in three years. Onuaku goes down and Melo can't do his homework... Its soul crushing looking back on it. Knowing we were arguably the best team in college basketball both years..

Every year when Cuse is eliminated its soul crushing..

As for NBA soul crushing moments... I don't think you could consider Nets in 4, Boston in 4, and Heat in 5 soul crushing losses for my Knicks. Have yet to have my soul crushed in the NBA. Closest thing to it was Knicks trading Andy Rautins..

What are some of the moments that burned your soul as a fan of your team/teams??

Pistons loosing to Jordan finally in 90'

Don't mean to be a doube bag here, but it was 91. Detroit won it all in 89 and 90.

But yeah... that was hard to watch... but what was harder was watching all the blatant calls Jordan got for the next 8 seasons whenever he wwas on the floor. That dude could have brought a machette onto the court, decapitated a guy and kicked somebody in the nuts and then run the length of the court with the ball in his hands and dunk it and somebody how he'd get put on the charity stripe for the "and one" :facepalm:

But that horry three pointer was painful as well. I was yelling at Sheed... lol

Grant Hill leaving was a bummer, but it got us Big Ben which was the cornerstone of the next championship.

I wonder what was more painful for Cavs fans, this:
