After a couple of contracts being signed, we saw one player show us how he actually is worth 16 millions a year (Harden scored 37 points in his Rockets debut, leading them to a win), while DeMar DeRozen was on a mission to prove how stupid Coangelo is for giving him 10 million a year by shooting 5-14 for the night and failing to get to the line even once. Meanwhile, in Damian Lillard was making a case for rookie of the year in his debut, scoring 23 points and handing out 11 assists in his debut (though he may want to cut back the 6 turnovers), leading the Trailblazers past the Lakers despite a combine 63 points from Howard and Kobe. Though he wasn't the only rookie with a great night. Davis posts 21 points and 7 rebounds in his debut.

James Harden, for me is the clear choice for line of the night with 37 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and a block! But there were a few other nice lines last night.

Who you got for line of the night?

Harden, but Dwight should get some recognition just because he went 15-19 from the charity stripe

Harden without question IMO. Good threads Jason.

Harden's was the best, although Lillard did what only two other players - neither one of them names LeBron James - could do.

You should not get recognition for losing. That was a wasted 15-19 FTs.

If Kobe drops 40-50 in a game and the Lakers lose, those are the most disheartening 40-50 pts by an individual player that you as a fan will experience.

At the end of the day, winning matters.

My vote goes to Harden.

Btw JasonJohnHorn, how are you going to put a poll of best stat line, put Kobe on the poll, and then happen to just put his 7 turnovers there?

If you feel his 7 turnovers negated everything else that he did, then you shouldn't have put him on the poll in the first place.
