View Full Version : Where Does a Healthy Andrew Bogut Rank amongst Centers?

A #1 pick bust comes to mind to most people who hear his name, but Bogut was a beast in Milwaukee when healthy--great defender, good passer just not as good offensively as let's say a Brooke Lopez.

Would you consider him the second best center behind Dwight Howard when healthy? Does he even crack top 5?

Not sure but behind Lopez obviously.

A healthy HEALTHY bogut is top 3, behind Howard and Bynum. When he's healthy he averages like 16 and 10, with 2.5 blocks a game, that's better than anything Hibbert or Lopez have done, too bad he is never healthy.

Fully healthy, he's probably #2, though obviously anything is debatable. Fully healthy, he makes the Warriors a very serious team.

110% healthy, he's the 3rd best Center in the league. Bucks fan here, and the "Fear the Deer" year was his best by far. Was BEASTING it averaging like 16 and 10 along with 2.5 blocks a game

Definitely has the size and footwork to be a great center, when healthy.

That's the problem, he's never healthy. So I'd rank Lopez ahead of him right now just because of that issue.

I'm glad we got rid of him... it was time to move on. But best of luck to his future endeavors. I hope he eventually becomes the player he was supposed to be.

A healthy Bogut is on par with D12 IMO. People easily forget but a few seasons ago he pretty much dominated and was the prime reason the Bucks made their way into the playoffs. That arm injury really ****ed things up for him - but again, he's a 20 & 12 guy when healthy.

top 4 no doubt. Problem is, he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Freak injuries for the most part.

Freak injuries for the most part.

no doubt dude. I just hope he can get healthy, I actually like watching him play. Beast defender, mean streak, and strong as an ox.

Definitely top 5. At this point in his career, considering past injuries, I would say he is on par with Marc Gasol if healthy

hmm wasn't JOrdan criticized for saying you can build a team around Bogut?

I agree though Bogut is a beast when healthy.

He ranks pretty high, but unfortunately he always seems to get hurt.

I used to always pick him in fantasy basketball :sigh:

He's too fragile to even be considered a top center. stay healthy for a full season and then we'll talk.
