Heat (26)
Lakers (8)
OKC (1)

Yup, sounds about right. The Heat are proven, the Lakers are not.

Normally I would criticize these so called experts for their predictions but the NBA isn't hard to predict this year. There are clear standouts with no room for some surprises. So unfortunate.

Unless there is a major injury to the Heat or Lakers, I expect both to make the Finals. We will all finally be able to see LBJ vs Kobe on the grandest stage. Heat in 6.

Yup, looks about right. Lakers are an unknown and Thunder just traded Harden away so they got knocked a little as an unknown too. Personally I think the Lakers will gel alright and when we hit the playoffs expectations may be a little different (in that people will have it more even between heat lakers).

Probably the easiest year in most recent years to predict the NBA champion. Really only about 5 teams that have a legit shot (Miami, Boston, LAL, SA, and OKC, with an honorable mention to LAC), and even then, Miami and LAL are clear cut the better two teams out of that group.

I'm going with the Heat though.

that make sense.... SI had OKC ahead of LAL which makes no sense... this is reasonable..

I like the Lakers in a series against the Heat.

I think ESPN picked Miami to win the championship because they are a really good team.

There are a few teams I would like to see win. LAL, just so Nash can get a ring.
I'd also be happy if OKC wins.
And if I was asked to make a prediction, I'd say Indy will win it all. I know they are a long shot, but I believe they have a legit shot at winning it all, and it's not nearly as boring a pick as MIA, LAL and OKC.

Part of me wants to say these guys had no balls because they all picked teams that everybody expects, but at the same time, they gotta build their cred.

Still... I would have liked to see somebody pick SA or DEN or IND.

I'm not sure I see anyone dethroning Miami. I do like Boston a lot this year though. I also love the other LA team as a dark horse. I think they stand a much better chance than SA at taking home the trophy.
