Just wondering how you guys feel about this. A lot of people have different opinions when it comes to rating a player. Some go off of stats, some use others opinions, some use championships. Are championships a good tool when rating players in your opinion?

Of course you have to value championships highly but if you are judging individual greatness league MVPs are more valuable

Horry have what like 7 rings? Doesn't mean he's better than Malone, Barkley, Iverson & other great players who didn't win one, It only matters a little to me depends on your hype.

What's the difference between " a bit" and "a little"

^^ Depends on how you use them on your argument and which players you're arguing with.

Kobe Bryant.

^^ This.

^^ The award held more credence before the '80-'81 season.

IMO it depends on who you're talking about. Some players have had direct impacts on their team when those titles were won and some players didn't. Ex. Jordan & Horry

All it takes is doing a search of the history of your threads. Not a surprise that 80% of them deal with Kobe or the Lakers.

Btw, I know you're el hidalgo, but could you be kind enough to let me know who "hidalgo" (without the el) is? :)

You got me! I made a duplicate account with the same name. I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids

I know you have a mancrush on me, but please quit derailing my threads. This has nothing to do with Kobe. Rating players and the different ways to do it intrigues me.
