Good picks. T-Mac had very good handles for a guy his size. Kobe as well.

Jordan and Magic obviously from their eras, plus some others.

Kobe has amazing ball control as well.

T Mac fell short of what everyone expected him to be, but I think he was a really good player and don't understand all of the hate. Imagine if Yao and him could have both played healthy together in Houston... that shoulda coulda woulda been something special.

I know Lamar Odom isn't a guard, but for someone 6'10 or taller, Lamar has the best handles

For 6'6...Kobe no question

i think it comes down to the playoff loser that he was and all the threads from jb about him spark a backlash.he fell short def,but he was still very good player that doesnt get enough respect on this site and the hate goes overboard into anything dealing with him, even something like what the op is asking

Does it have to be guard? LO as mentioned before for a forward as well as Hedo.

KD has a pretty nice handle for being as tall and lanky as he is.

Shaq had a decent handle for a 7 footer as well. I'm referring to his younger days when he was agile enough to push the break.

Magic Johnson.

6'6'' - kobe/jordan...both have had an infinite amount of moves in their arsenal, with both hands.

6'7''- penny hardaway - he was brilliant, period

6'8'' - prime t-mac or current lebron...its a toss up. Both are lightening fast with freaky athleticism, and have the ball on a string.

6'9'' - magic - he was a straight up magician at 6'9''...he gave the lakers of that time so much versatility with their line-ups.

6'10'' - Odom/Durant - Both are a little clunky with dribbling during contact, but when they're in the open court, they are smooth with both hands.

6'11'' - Kukoc - that guy had so much skill in his hands, dig up the youtube archives

7'0'' - Dirk or Olajuwan - in different ways, these guys had a ton of finesse and used a lot of ball skill to create space and score.

best ballhandlers of all time IMHO:

iverson - we call what he had "wavy". his crossover highlights are BY FAR the best in NBA history. This guy made Jordan stumble, and Antonio Daniels broke both ankles and fractured his pelvis, and had a concussion when he crossed him twice.

nash - some of the stuff this guy does is unbelievable. its like he has eyes in the back AND side of his head. anticipator extraordinaire.

best ballhandler of all time though: john amechi - lmao

6'0 - 6'5 = Nash / CP3 / Kidd / Wade / Iverson / Tim Hardaway

6'6 - Jordan + Young Kobe
(Kobe's handles have degraded over the years due to hand/wrist injuries)

6'7 - Penny

6'8 - T-Mac / Lebron

6'9 - Magic

6'10 - Odom

7'0+ - Shaq / Hakeem

xxplayerxx23

Kobe and Gasol.

NBA Open COurt is a great show, absolutely a great idea to get all those legends and hall of famers in that one room. Steve Kerr is funny, I like Steve Smith on NBATV but think they could have got someone with more personality in his place.

Ive always thought that was unfair because if you dont look at his years in the playoffs on the bench like with ATL last year, TMAC is one of the best playoff performers EVER. That dude did everything in the playoffs, he just always had mediocre teams at best.

All the greatest shooting guards are also, not surprisingly, some of the greatest ball handlers. In fact, not being a good ball handler is a common reason for a player not being a team's starting shooting guard.
Magic Johnson is the king in this thread, with LeBron James waiting in the wings.
