Congrats to the Giants for what they did in this series. But I just wanted to point out something out that TBS, ESPN, and MLBN all failed to see. The Giants aren't the first NL team to come back from an 0-2 deficit in an NLDS to win the series. People seem to forget that there was an NLDS in 1981 before 1995. The Dodgers that year came back from an 0-2 deficit against the Astros to advance to the NLCS against the Expos.

A few teams have come back, but didn't win as well.

They never stated they were. The Dodgers weren't overlooked.

The Giants were, however, the first team to go 0-2 at home and then continued to win three on the road to advance. That's what I think they were saying.

And they'll probably be the only team to accomplish that.

Yeah as the guy above noted, they aren't wrong. When the Dodgers did it, they did not do it with three road game wins in a row.

3 in a row at home? Bush league.

Exactly. 3 in a row at home is for wussies. Do it on the road, like men!

It's because the Dodgers are irrelevant.

In the OP's defense, he is correct in the sense that a lot of the broadcasters are saying it incorrectly. I've heard several times people claim it is the first person to come from and 0-2 hole in the NLDS.

Almost nothing in baseball is done only once. Unless they plan on changing the format of the NLDS (wouldn't be against that), another team will do it.
