Who watched Open Court today? Shaq rated Brook Lopez over Dwight Howard. Personally i think Shaq needs to shut up and stop throwing out stupid opinions. Even Nets fans will say there is NO way Lopez is better than D12. Reggie Miller said to Shaq that: "It sounds like you have a little bit of bitterness.

Thoughts? Is Shaq kinda tarnishing his legacy with all this D12 hating? Is he jealous that there's a new superstar Center in Laker Land?

Here's the link to watch it: http://www.nba.com/opencourt/?ls=iref:nbahpt1

i just think its ironic how shaq is judging dwight based on one aspect of his game only, and most of the people who bash his opinions judge LeBron the same way.

Thats high class irony.

Shaq is a ****ing idiot tho.. sorry.. I loved Shaq as a player.... but him and Barkley are total tools.. Escpecially Barkley holy ****... dude has no clue what hes talking about.. both of these guys have these jobs because of who they are.. but neither really know what they are doing.. They can be entertaining but i dont take anything they say seriously.. and neither should you

Shaq added that he meant it in the sense of guys who have a back to the basket game. He gives an edge to guys that can take it down on the block and score as opposed to the more "Euro" Pick and Roll game. To which he thinks Dwight ascribes to. To me he sounds a bit xenophobic but whatever.

I don't think Shaq quite understands that the role of the big man has changed over the years and there aren't any real "true" centres in the league. Miller did raise a good point when he talked about Cousins being a throwback type of C that can make some noise in the future however.
