Looks great. The best part was seeing people STILL protesting the arena despite the fact, It's been built and opened already :laugh2:

That arena looks simply amazing. I though it was overhyped years ago when people claimed it would be the best in the NBA and whatever but i now that i am seeing it and have seen it in person i am amazed. It is beautiful and IS the best in the NBA.

The food alone blow most arenas out of the water. They brought some of Brooklyn's best to Barclay's

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/26/dining/the-barclays-center-in-brooklyn-showcases-the-boroughs-food.html?_r=2&smid=tw-share

Wi-fi hotspots all over the arena. They will have a free app for the arena that will allow everyone to order their food from their seats so you can just pick it up and i assume for extra they will bring it to your seat. Freaking beer holders at each urinal in the bathrooms!!! Geez!!

A 1 billion dollar arena with VIP suites, 40/40 nightclub, state of the art basketball court, practice court, fitness facility In the 4th largest city/borough in the USA and cleanest borough of NY is a dump?

If so, what would that make Bradley Center? :laugh2:

Just make the switch bro. Just do it. You know you have thought about it. We will love you here man.

Knicks fans: I propose a trade! Give us Punk and you can have that DoMeFavors creature. It's perfect! Brooklyn Nets could use another rational fan and the Knicks don't have a mascot.

It works. Message me for more info.

The Nets did it right with the black and white classic look, it's so crisp and clean. Well done Prokorov and Jay-Z.

Looks like you can a decent seat for a Nets game for about 15-25 bucks. Knicks for the same games cost north of 70. I will happily go to some Net games, obviously rocking blue and orange.

The new arena looks great.

Where did you see that? That would be sweet if true. I thought after the move the tickets would be like at least $40 and up. I don't think individual seats even went on sale yet unless you are part of the pre order.

Nah just hopped on Stubhub. Tickets for the games against Minnesota, Toronto and Orlando are all 20 bucks or less.

:laugh2: Show me a link or your lying. I would do anything to find tickets that cheap. I got my opening night tickets as a gift and when i went online looking to buy some tickets to future games the cheapest i found were nosebleed tickets to a Toronto game for $60

There are ****** areas, like every other city, but it also has some very nice areas.

Oh nice! Thanks. Never checked there.

The "cheaper than the Knicks" was kind of the selling point though. Nets promised not to let their prices get to Knicks level (we will see how long they will keep that promise) because they are hoping bandwaggon Knicks fans will convert. They are hoping the amount that Dolan is charging combined with the Knicks futilities will be enough to make Knicks fans switch.

Fully expect some Knick fans to switch. My college roommate already did. I also know a fair amount of Net fans who switched to the Knicks when they moved.

Plus ridiculously cheap ticket prices and a mediocre commute will be very nice. But you have take into consideration prices of beer. MSG has surprisingly cheap beer prices. That makes a huge difference in the cost of a game.

Yea i agree. Concessions in general will be ridiculous at Barclay's Center. 10.00 hot dogs just cuz they called it a Brooklyn dog? smh

Idk about those "ridiculously cheap ticket prices" i wish i could find more of those but the only ones that i can find that are the prices you are suggesting are against crap teams. Just because they are cheaper than the Knicks does not make them cheap. I think you have it backwards. The Nets tickets arent "ridiculously cheap"; the Knicks tickets are "ridiculously overpriced".

Actually it kinda does. At least for me it does. I dont venture out to other cities to go to their basketball games. I go to Knicks games, and a lot of them. And the going rate for those tickets can be anywhere from $40-120, with 40 being the shitties teams. I mean 40 bucks for Nets-Celtics? Thats unbelievable, especially for New York City, regardless of where you sit. Obviously "ridiculously cheap" is a subjective term, but you best believe even the ****** games for the Nets wont be $15 bucks in a few years.

Driving will most likely be a nightmare. I assume most people will be taking the LIRR, Subway, Path to get there. Although I dont think the Path goes there.

Like i said, Nets promised that they would not allow their prices to get to ridiculous levels like the Knicks. Its kind of a selling point for them. The prices mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

As expensive as their tickets are the Knicks have produced ONE playoff win in over a decade. Every team in their division NJ, PHI, TOR, and BOS has won the division since the Knicks last won the division. Knicks fans are loyal. Best in the NBA imo

Why Dolan continues to take dumps on them is a mystery. He is too money hungry and the Nets are using it as a marketing tactic. They are selling the "Better team, cheaper prices" stuff.

Yes. Anyone stupid enough to drive there will find it impossible to get in and out. Game days will be a nightmare for that area of Brooklyn as far as traffic goes.

Ideally the Nets are pushing fans to commute by train. They are even doing promotions for tickets i think to push fans to take the train.

Makes total sense. When I have visited NYC, that is pretty much the only way I got around. I forget about great public transportation systems living down here in Houston...

Only nice parts of Brooklyn are full of hipsters. I'd take the Albany St projects over Williamsburg or Park Slope every day of the week.

They made it very convenient for mass transit much like MSG which is key. Can't wait to check this place out.
