I think they deserve a little recognition outside of their team forum. First playoff berth since the 81 Expos.

Well my horse, the Cubs, aren't racing in this one...so I'm pulling for the Nationals. Here's to an Orioles Nationals WS.

If the Brewers don't sneak in I'll definitely be rooting for the Nats. I didn't think they'd make the playoffs coming into the season and certainly didn't think they'd run away with the division. Boy was I wrong.

Congrats Nats fans.

Been a long time coming 79 years to be exact for a DC baseball team that is but this is only the first step onward and upward to the division crown.

The last time a team from DC made the Postseason, Babe Ruth was still playing.

We actually beat the Yankees in the playoffs in 1933 with the wrecking crew of 1933

Also Davey Johnson joins only Billy Martin to lead 4 different teams to the postseason

if they get to the world series and lose- management is to blame.

and it would be funny if they don't make the playoffs next year for whatever reason or first round drop outs
