Hakeem Olajuwon will be in NY next week to work out with @Amareisreal @carmeloanthony @tysonchandler & @MarcusCamby23

I don't remember Hakeem working out multiple players from a team at once before.

I mean I'm not against it...but why? Chandler/Camby have no offense to improve and Amare/Melo are who they are already has far as scorers

Actually, Camby and Chandler have like 2 post moves but they aren't good at executing them which is probably why Woodson wants Hakeem to train them.

Hey... if I'm any organization in the league and Hakeem is willing to come in a show any of my guys a few moves, i'm going to get as many players in on that training session as possible.

Hakeem is a god. Why would you not want him working with as many of your guys as possible.

And Hakeem has more to show these guys than the Dream Shake... he was, after all, one of the best defensive centers in the history of the league. Two time DPOY!!!!

I'm loving this off season for the Knicks

No reason for them not to have home court in the first round. I think they are a top 4-5 team. They will be fighting for that 4th seed with brooklyn probably

Maybe he can help Chandler get another move that is reliable.

Hakeem needs to just be signed as an assistant coach somewhere, Denver, Knicks, Kings, Sixers...

I'm not saying no...I'm saying how effective will he actually be training 4 guys in X amount of time...not to mention one is 38 and will not get any better at anything. No way in hell am I against the IDEA of it but I just question how beneficial it will be and to what extent. Him training STAT down in Houston was one thing...and maybe Melo could develop a few counter moves for his already good post game but Chandler and Camby....

great, Carmelo with more isolation post moves.

LOL

Chandler with the dream shake!

Highly doubt it. He just doesn't have a good touch outside 3 feet from the basket.

I'd actually like Chandler to increase his FT%.

Hakeem Olajuwon's signature move was the Dream Shake. When he did the Dream Shake, opposing defenders would try to block the shot, but Hakeem Olajuwon had not shot the basketball yet. Hakeem Olajuwon would trick them with his Dream Shake.

Hakeem went to NY to train a multiple of players. These players are hoping to be well trained. Hakeem is one of the best players in the game, so it is likely that they will be better

Hakeem was one of the best 2-way players of all-time. There's value having him work with any player regardless of if they will be using a "dream shake." Hell send Ray Felton too.

I mean I'm not against it...but why? Chandler/Camby have no offense to improve and Amare/Melo are who they are already has far as scorers

read the article on espnny.com, hakeem sees a lot of potential in chandler...and to say Amare/Melo cant improve is silly...they are both about to hit their 30's pretty soon, they will need to learn some new tricks to maintain their top notch scoring abilities...the simplest example i can give is Michael Jordan...MJ didnt top out in his late 30's, he added more moves to his arsenal and stayed relevant

douglas offers a fresh and true insight that reveals the essence of the Dream Shake. While Olajuwon may decieve many a rival with his ingenious ruse, douglas pierces straight through the trickeration at it's core. I applaud this deconstructive analysis for it cracks the inigma that is the Dream Shake wide open.

Dream could be auditioning for an assistant coach job. How pissed would Ewing be if that happened?

If he was smart... just stay an independent contractor and charge $50K a week for the moves like Jagger. Pretty soon every front court player in the league will be Dream Shaking!!!

When he actually trys to score on offense he isn't half bad with his footwork and shooting touch.

This. It's just a unnecessary homophobic comment, but internet tough guys tend to do that.

The topic on hand... I'm sure this will benefit Chandler at least with his offensive game. He needs to develop a more reliable offensive game and he could be a real force at center with how he plays D. Not sure what the benefit is for someone like Stat who doesn't rely on his post game to score.

I don't get why Knicks and Bulls fans get such a bad rap. I think they're pretty cool. They just like supporting their teams and star players. Nothing wrong with that.
