Not NBA but this is funny, the poor little kids trying to guard him at the beginning had me howling.

Check out the tallest player in high school Mamadou Ndiaye towering over the competition during the summer AAU circuit.

He seems to be quite tall. Being really tall is better than being really short when you play basketball.

If I was that tall in high school, I'd average a Triple-Triple

Edit: He's as dark as his hair

call me crazy but if he's 7'5, there's a lot of freakishly tall high schoolers out there lol. Most of the guys in the video looked less than a foot shorter. 6'5 is still really tall lol

he isn't that explosive and he was kind of boring to watch honestly. Like the one guy said he barely jumps.

@ :57 he almost did a Shaq and came down with the whole rim.

He actually looks pretty skilled for a high-schooler with a frame like that. Hopefully someone develops him well

One thing I can say about the guy/kid is ...... he's lucky it's seems the NBA lets a 7'-5" guy into the league once every decade sometimes two ..... to generate a few nice posters and then finds a way to get them out.

With that said .... out of all of them this kid seems to be the ONLY one with a drop step and some what of a strong finish AND he's not even developed yet. OH yeah a 7'-5" with a reverse dunk is a first. Also the fact he has small feet for someone his size could help with his foot work.

As we all will see college will show us a lot about him. Just wait until Kareem gets a hold of this kid and teaches him a skyhook...LOL

JasonJohnHorn

The sad thing about a guy like this is that it is so easy for him to dominate, and highschool coaches are, more often than not, really incapable of developing players who are physically gifted, that it seems ever play run for him is just a dunk on some 5'10 white kid. Though he has very unique physical gifts, he's probably not learning as much about the game as he should be, and likely won't until he gets into college.

Every shot save one in this video was a dunk. He's going to need to be able to do more than that to compete in the NBA. I mean, Hasheem Thabeet is like 7'4 and he can even get minutes in the NBA... so you do need to be more than just that tall to have an NBA career.

Kid looks like he actually knows how to play. He looks like he'll have a future in the league. If he puts on muscle it'll be really scary.

Because such height leads to wear and tear, to shawn bradley i must compare, and because he'll just be a slow giant, he'll soon be dunked on by kobe bryant, so we must not trust for he must adjust to speed or he'l be another bust

He is actually more athletic than people think. He has a long wingspan that allows him to dunk on people. If he ever became more coordinated and quicker, i could see a professional basketball career in his future for sure

he actually has footwork and athleticism. Impressive.

Also its funny cuz that "tiny" red headed kid near the end is like 6'10"

Man, if he's this tall now, I wonder how tall he's going to be when he becomes an adult?

This kid should be blocking everyone's shot. Averaging a triple double should be easy with that much of an advantage...

Steelers23_06
09-14-2012, 04:03 PM
I think he has real potential. He had only been playing american basketball two years and if he does 4 years in college he could be a beast. He's slower then Bol because he's a different player then Bol other then height and raw talent. But Bol played all over the place. This guy is a pure paint player that already has 110 pounds on Bol and his post moves are better then some bigs in the league today. After only playing for 2 years hes already averaging 23-13-5. He has certain things that can't be taught and not just big like that guy Tyler hansborough dunked on a couple years back. I'm not saying he's going to be great but at the same time I'm not saying he's not.
