I remember him playing PF because he played with Paul pierce in Boston, maybe some SF in his other stops but mostly PF. I have to say no he was an ok player but he'll be an after thought in a couple of years Vince carter has a better chance of making it than walker.

No, I don't think he has a shot? He had some very good years in his prime but his play dropped off significantly, especially when he left Boston. Just wasn't the same player?

Maybe injuries? At some point, he stopped attacking the basket like he usually did in Boston and became a jump shooter.

Is this a serious question?

no Antoine Walker is a waste of talent

Seriously??? He ranks right up there on the all time list with:

Jerry Stackhouse
Steve Smith
Sean Elliott
Jamal Mashburn
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Ron Harper
Byron Scott
Rashard Lewis
Sam Perkins
Stephen Jackson

Unfortunately, I don't see any of them making the Hall of Fame. Now depending on how many wings he can eat in an hour there are some 'Walls of Fame' that he could shoot for.

if there was a hall of fame for my fantasy basketball leagues i started playing in back in 1999, he'd be a 3rd ballot hall of famer.

seriously, even if he had two or three rings i'd still say no. you rarely see a player like him become that irrelevant overnight.

Come on, what's with all of these insane HOF threads lately? The answer is no.

A commentator on ESPN was talking about Art Modell possibly being in the football HOF and he said that someone once told him "A hall of famers is someone with whom you could not write the story of the NFL without" and I think that's a good level of judgement.

Even 10 levels below that, no. Nice try though Mr. Walker.

I was looking at his stats; the man took over 8 3's a game one year.

LOL,

Over on the Celtic board we are debating most overrated Celts of all time, and I believe Walker has a comfortable lead over all others.

All time volume scoring knucklehead. Dino Radja was arguably a better player.

I don't think it is a crazy a question as some others think. He was a 20/10 player and he's won a ring and was a part of a couple of deep playoff runs in Boston. He reminds me of Steve Francis in that he had a great start to a career and was on pace to become a very special player, but somewhere along the line there was just a dramatic drop off. The team he was with was stagnating and needed to make a change, and he was the most tradable piece they had, but once you start moving around, and jump from Boston to Dallas to ATL back to Boston and then to Miami and then Minny and then to Memphis who doesn't even play him... and the the NBDL? And he can't even get minutes there? it's just a bad way to end a career, and most people will remember how he ended his career, not how he started it. That, and he had a major case of Chuck Person/Dan Mejerle syndrom... start off a career with a solid post game, put up some nice rebounding numbers, and then BAMB!!! Start camping out on the three point line before you reach your full potential. And he had it worse than Person and Majerle... 8 three pointers a game! WHO THE FAWK TAKES 8 THREE POINTERS A GAME?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

And don't even get me started on that Minny/Memphis trade.... Memphis gave up: KEVIN LOVE and Mike Miller and got back Jaric Burkner and Mayo and Walker who never played a game for Memphis.

SMH!!!

No... no HOF for Walker.

He was a mediocre shooter, mostly a guy that was either really good, or really bad. Not HOF worthy.
