Didn't that guy already ruin the franchise once before? Dolan is lucky he had a good GM in Walsh to clean up that mess so he better not screw up and hire that clown again.

Id hire him as a draft consultant. There isn't any pos open, but drafting is one thing the guy could do.

Oh so one mistake (rondo and Lowry where the only 1s I would of wanted) Makes him bad at drafting? Thomas isn't bad at the draft.

Wasn't it a couple of years ago the NBA made some rule that the Knicks cannot contact Isiah Thomas. I don't even remember what the issue was about, but i found the whole thing hilarious.

Knicks fans... omg WHY do they do this to you? What the ****? It's like you guys are the best most loyal fans, and it is like they purposely **** with you just to try and make it impossible to believe.

Isaiah back as GM of the Knicks... that is just UGLY. That makes Orlando Magic fans feel good about themselves once again.

This Isiah stuff comes up periodically and nowhere in the article does it say they are going to hire him for some major position.

As usual Chill_Will can't stop talking about the Knicks even though he claims to hate them.

What are the chances Prokhorov is paying Isiah to try and get a job with the Knicks again just to kill the franchise once and for all.

Obviously Isiah has dirt on Dolan, or Dolan suffers some form of sort term memory loss.

Former New York Knicks coach and president Isiah Thomas has been offered a position with the team, but is reluctant to return.
A report in the New York Daily News on Sunday cited sources close to Thomas that he has had discussions with Knicks owner James Dolan to return to the team in a management capacity.
Thomas was fired as the Knicks' coach following the 2007-08 season. He also served as the franchise's president from December 2003 to April 2008.
Until last spring, he served as head coach of Florida International University's men's basketball team for three seasons.
"Isiah is very close with Jim Dolan but he's told me that he's not ready to jump back into the NBA just yet," source said. "There's this perception out there that Isiah is desperate to get back, but that's false. I think it will eventually happen but just not now."

None of his drafting with the Knicks can really be called good.

It's a crap shoot at best anyway, and his two best picks, one wasn't even his choice.

He didn't want David Lee, he wanted Chris Taft.

How do you not draft a center(Bynum), when in the same summer and before the season you sign one (Jerome James) and trade for one (Eddy Curry).

Mind you, one guy had one good playoff series, not year, a series.

The Bulls wanted to pay curry to walk away.

Besides no person skilled at drafting would actually fork over draft picks, if that's their skill.

Knicks fans don't deserve this garbage owner. There's really no rational explanation (basketball wise) for the Knicks to reacquaint themselves with this joker.

Walsh knew this Dolan guy was a turd and high tailed it out of town with dignity.

Nothing like another Knick thread from another Nets fan.

Sad thing is, it's always the same ones.

**** James Dolan. Worst owner in the league. Though this rumor probably isn't true, its been going on like 5 years now.

Again? It's almost like Dolan is saying "okay the Knicks seem to be doing okay, what can we do to mess it up?" I hope this is nothing.

The worst thing with Dolan is that while he's literally one of the worst owners in professional sports history, he actually is will to spend money on the team.
