View Full Version : Contract Year Players

Which player (who is entering his contract season) will put up some relatively good numbers this season? Players who already put up big numbers, may not see an increase and could stay on par with previous season stats

For example Chris Bosh's last year with the Raptors before joining the Heat, he put career numbers in points, field goal % and rebounds.

In my opinion, I am thinking if DJ Augustin takes the starting spot in Indiana, he could put up some career numbers. JJ Redick will put up much better numbers since Howard's departure means more touches going his way. Josh Smith, Paul Millsap already put up big numbers and may stay on par especially with potential trades lurking nearby

Josh Smith will be a 20+ppg scorer this year with Joe Johnson gone,I can see Atlanta using him as the 1st option he will def have a great season.

Jarett Jack, Mo Williams, Josh Smith. It sucks to see guys play their best in their contract year and then take a dive stat-wise as they get their big payday.

Kevin Martin

Well he needs to, last season was awful for him. I don't know how many minutes he will get and if he will stay as a rocket all season, but he needs to bounce back this season. He won't get a good offer if continues to struggle, passing up shots and playing medicre defense.

I didn't put Bynum because its generally agreed that his numbers will go up especially with his situation
