Not possible. And if he did we would know about it, because allot more teams would have interest in him.

Jianlian will be out for a long time with some injury. I'm surprised Flynn and T-Will are still our there, as well as Gee not getting any offers.

I thought he was going to sign the QO.

Yi is only 24 and had a great year with NJ before playing for the Wizards, i think he can turn his career around if he gets healthy.

Im also surprised Gee hasnt been picked up.

Flynn really needs to find the right situation as a back-up. Hes fast, he can score and pass, but he is a defensive liability.

CDR is only a scorer, but he doesnt score enough for the minutes he plays. his rebounds are sub par and everything else he does isnt really noticeable. I understand why he is still out there. He needs to round out his game and work on getting better at something other than scoring.

Gee signed his qualifying offer. As a Spurs fan I want someone over 7'0" brought in for the last spot. Whether that's Whiteside or someone developmental. Blair and all these small tweeners aren't centers.

Terrence Williams played well for the Kings last year. I was really hoping we'd bring him back.

He was. I'd have to assume that his age (28) is keeping him from getting a deal done.

It's totally possible. I am only 5'10" and put on 10lbs. of muscle this summer from 160 ("ideal" BMI) to 170. Whiteside is listed at 7'0" 235lbs. so he definitely could put on that much weight.

The question is: did he really? I'm skeptical myself, but he has a workout with the Wolves this week so we may find out soon enough.

How did Flynn fall of this badly. One of the most shocking things

The curse of Kahn! :speechless:

Actually, I would say it was the fact that he has already been on 3 teams and he was the 3rd stringer on that last team behind a Fat Felton and... Crawford (a 2-guard)?

Flynn was good at 'Cuse but the Big East tourney game against UConn is what hyped him up so much. Outside of that he was never predicted to be as high of a pick as he was. Not really surprised he hasnt found a good fit, he is very small and cant get his shot off easily.

GEE has not yet signed his deal. there is some hold up but if does seem he will be a cav. but he is still technically a free agents still. just check the official roaster. he is still listed as a FA.

The main thing I hate most about the NBA forum is someone makes a good thread like this and it gets 18 posts in 3 days. Obviously the list isn't impressive and honestly the only guy I'd like to see on the Clippers would be Yi. I think Darko is only 26 or something and I consider him the top guy left on the market. He would be an upgrade at Starting Center to probably 5 maybe 10 teams. My Clipps possibly included.

i just think that darko is on his way over seas. i think he has out stayed his welcome in the league.

To me it has to be Barbosa. Would love him on the lakers.

^Darko has turned down offers from overseas,(Real Madrid),and has stated he wants to remain in the NBA and there are multiple teams reported to be interested in him.

^+1...im not a lakers fan but i do believe he's a top free agent left and would fit best in LA. Can't say i wasn't excited when he came to the Pacers last year, as a fan, but he dosen't/didn't fit into the mold of the Pacers style. He clicked with Nash for the best times in his career and most likely that association could elevate his game again.

i can agree that darko and barbosa are up there on the list but i was trying to factor in potential as well. no doubt that darko and barbosa would help a vet team. i still feel that darkos days in the league are numbers though.

It would be funny, if LAL could get a handle on Flynn. Being back-up to Nash could help him develop into a respectable PG for the future.

Darko is worth it for a team that can afford to take a chance on his laziness. His first full year in Minny, he wasn't looking too terribly bad as a shotblocking center (a league leader), but he got some minor injuries and sat out forever. Last year, I think he stubbed his toe or something and was out for a month and just didn't seem to give a crap when he did play.

He's a better option than Curry but no guarantee.

Teams like Charlotte and Detroit should probably looking at the guys on your list. The possible upside of those players makes them more intriguing for rebuilding teams. Veteran/playoff teams would be more interested in Barbosa and Darko.

CDR looked like a very promising rookie and completely fell off the planet once he was traded out of NJ. Didn't TWill put up a triple double early in his career? WTF happened to that dude....

well thats what i was tgetting at, like you said teams like washington, the cats, cavs, and other young teams would benefit from taking a cheep flyer on some of these guys. and for the record i would take yi over darko any day of the week !

What I hate most is that Orlando hasn't seemed to look to pick up anyone. Their team is pathetic and they could certainly use a 2/3 with potential as well as a backup PG. And they don't even have a center outside of Vucevic.

IK right, i mean they did grab etwan more and ish smith but they could benefit from bringing in T will, Yi, D white, or Flynn. they could really stand to bring in C.D.R. i mean i dont get it either i guess there just going to ride with gustavo as there back up big.

Echoing what people said earlier about Barbosa to LAL would be interesting reuniting the two guards.

Yi is a stiff and should head back overseas, at this point he is just money maker. Look at the bigs on the Mavs that played over him.

Flynn i think needs guidance from an older pg willing to teach ie Kidd or Nash.

CDR/TWill have far too many personal issues and that is what is causing teams to take a step back on signing either. T-Will is much more talented imo.

Ivan Johnson should get a look from somebody once he takes a shorter term contract and less $$

Gee is offically a cav.
well since micguire and gee are off the list im going to add two more names to it

Armon Johnson (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/4279/armon-johnson),
and
Xavier Silas (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6499/xavier-silas),
two young raw guys with some potential. two guys worth picking up for teams like the cats and orlando.
