In the midst of losing two consecutive World Series matches, we went all out to improve our already dominant team. We didn't let anything stop us from improving in order to not only make a third consecutive World Series, but finally take crown. We found ways to improve in almost every aspect of our team, most notably adding last year's National League MVP in Ryan Braun to our deadly lineup. Then improved our pitching tremendously by finally adding an ace in Cole Hamels along with a young stud in Lance Lynn and a consistent innings eater in Edwin Jackson. We then decided it was time for us to finally get a defensive hitting catcher, something we haven't had since Pudge, so we made the move to acquire Yadier Molina. We improved our OBP a ton at the top of our order with Craig Gentry and Martin Prado then the rest of the lineup is just absolute power to drive in a ton of runs. Our bullpen was pretty good as it was, but we still decided to improve on it by adding Greg Holland and Mitchell Boggs and it can be argued that we have the best pen in the majors. Even our bench is lethal with the hitting and leadership of Young, the emergence of Moreland and the consistency of Murphy. As an overall team we are very balanced from top to bottom and we believe we have the best power hitting lineup in all of baseball. This is a formula that we believe will net us that much coveted World Series title.

That's a great matchup. Rangers have homefield advantage, so I go with them in 7.

It would definitely go 7 games, that's for sure. Great match-up. Hard to say who would have the edge in a CC vs Hamels game 7. Both have had good starts and bad starts in a playoff setting. I'll take the Yankees in 7 though.

Two awesome teams. I think the Rangers would win a best of 7 series though.

A healthy Brett Gardner > Jason Kubel.

The Rangers have the stronger offense and defense. The Yankees have the two best pitchers in the series (CC and Greinke). The BP is about even and both teams have strong benches. The Rangers have home-field advantage so I'd probably go with them.

Rangers in 7. Better offense and defense with good enough pitching and home-field.

I think the Rangers have the better lineup and rotation. There's some changes I would make to the Yankee order too, but still a very good lineup.

It's tough to compare those two because they're two totally different. players. It's great to have speed like Gardner's, but Kubel's power increases in Yankee Stadium. I'd rather have Gardner (if healthy), but Kubel is a very good run producer with the bat.

Because your team isn't heads and away better than mine? I have a clearly superior pitching rotation, and my offense isn't downright terrible and will be able to hit your pitching staff.

CC is better than Cole, and Grienke is better than Darvish. Harrison is slighty better than Kennedy. Sanchez and Lynn are pretty much even as well.

It's a close series though. Like really really close
