I hear Tracy McGrady might work out with the #Bobcats some, similar to how Josh Howard did. All informal and exploratory.

It would be nice to see Tmac play quality minutes on a contender

Does he not want to, hes not what he once was?!

I'm sure if a contender was calling, he'd much rather go there. But Charlotte could be a place for him to revitalize his career a bit.

I was thinking more along the lines he wasnt willing to take a limited role

I remember some issues in last season and comments he was making

Hes following Ben Gordon, the 2 played great together. Would rather see him in LAC or SAS.

I say Mike just gives him the bocats run a play for him everytime and have him shoot 20 shots a game so he can have one last year like that and he can pass to open shooters.

Tmac avg 23 ppg 6 assists and Bobcats go 15-67

Poor tmac, a workout for the worst NBA team, what a poor career ending.

Good for him. I'd like to see him on a contender team, but he could get more minutes and try to bounce back (at least just a little bit) this season.

He needs to go to China seriously and be a star there.

He's so popular there.

China would give him a much better role, and he would go back to averaging around 20 5 and 5 at least.

He'd be the face of the franchise

Why Clippers they already are stacked at the 2-3

Grant Hill and Caron Butler isnt my idea of a stacked lineup. He would be as much of a gamble as these guys are.

Billups and Jamal Crawford aswell

Both are gambles as well. Im telling you our swingmen positions are comprised entirely of gambles. We are hoping at least 2 of them pan out, adding Tmac would give us another gamble.

He will easily average 28, 8 and 8 for that team.

Revitalize his career? How much does he need to revitalize his career? He should have taken advantage of that in his last 2 stops in Detroit and Atlanta.

It's time to put up (produce on a contender) or shut up (put an end to his career for good).

It's time for Tracy McGrady to piggyback on a contender. Maybe he can be Metta World Peace's back-up. Then we can finally see him and Kobe Bryant on the same team.

Billups and Jamal Crawford aswell

Don't forget Willie Green and Travis Lake. Lamar Odom can also play the three at times.

I think this would be a great career move for Tmac. At this point in his career he still has a good handful of years to make something more of his career. The Bobcats really don't have many stars in town. This could be the last chance Tmac has to be a leader. Why not jump on the opportunity?

It will only hurt his career if he's part of the worst franchise in the NBA. And plus, he won't even be Charlotte's go-to scorer, they have Ben Gordon there as he's going to be chucking 3's with the greenest light.

I think Grant Hill is reliable, but I agree on the others being gambles.

I think people though Detroit would allow him to bounce back... and then Atlanta would do the same... he seems to be taking a step back working out for the Bobcats... might as well go to Europe at this point, they'd pay him more.

Seriously... he would help out any contender.
