*lol you put D12 as a 3pt shooter for the Lakers.

Mike Stanton can hit 3's now ???

I got a sleeper and a potential.

sleeper is the Houston Rockets.

My pick and it's not on here, the Golden State Warriors.

I think the heat may lead in percentage but probably not 3 pointers made, they just don't have enough minutes to go around especially when Lebron, Wade and Bosh are all playing 35 min+.

Warriors and Spurs should be on that list. Warriors have 4 players last year that shot over 40% from the three point line and just about made 2 three pointers a game. Harrison Barnes could possibly be on that list and Jarret Jack is no slouch from the three point line himself. Rush led the league last year at 49%.

Spurs have a good system going around where all of the SG/SF and Bonner of course all shoot threes.

Spurs are the kings of that corner 3 play.

First team that came to mind isn't even on the poll. #Warriors.

The Heat have three guys who can slash to the hoop really well (two of them also shoot threes pretty decently), thus opening space for the three-point shooters. Add that to the presence of Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Mike Miller and James Jones, and the answer is easy.

when you say it like the answer does seem pretty easy. not to mention is bosh starts hitting 3's. he was over 50% in the playoffs(even tho he only took a few) but they were clutch

MIA, I mean they have specifically built a team filled with shooters around Lebron & Wade. So it only makes sense.

Warriors might be 2nd behind Miami if you go by the shooters on each roster.

Allen>Curry
Chalmers<Thompson
Battier>Barnes
Miller>Rush
Lewis>?

Rush was very good and clutch last year. Barnes hasn't played a game yet so that's up to him. Allen is great but Curry is no schmuck.

Yeah Curry is a great 3pt shooter too,but he is no where near Ray Allen who might be the best 3pt shooter alltime.

Even my Sixers have a slew of three 3pt shooters this year (Dorrell Wright, Nick Young, Jason Richardson, Jrue Holiday).

His past counts? Why? Allen is great but Curry is def on his level. Acting like he isnt. Rush>Miller from 3, and Barnes will be a very good one.

The teams from Miami

Jeff559
09-03-2012, 05:02 PM
Also depends on how you define best 3 point shooting team. If it is defined by which team has the highest 3 pt fg percentage, then Miami will be weighted down by James, Wade and Bosh chucking 3s.

Yeah he's a Heat fan so you know he had to take a little shot at the Lakers.

IndyRealist
09-03-2012, 06:31 PM
Warriors if you don't account for pace. The Heat 3pt shooting is hindered by the fact that their shooters play behind guys who get major minutes but are NOT shooters. They won't put up enough attempts to matter for this purpose. The Warriors can play run now gun or inside out with Bogut.

idk Miami?

And I wasn't aware D12 shot 3's..
I think you meant Gasol?

The Pacers aren't built to win this, but but they also have Gerald Green who was a good shooter last year.

Heat are loaded in that department, Celtics look good on paper, Spurs are always a top notch 3 point shooting team.

ATL hawks should be on here
Korver and Morrow are two of the best 3 point shooters

it took lebron, wade, and bosh over 10 games to even shoot a 3 last year.. wade, bron, and bosh won't be an issue and don't sleep on james jones.. on paper its the heat allen, lewis, rio, battier, miller, jones but the warriors offense is live and die by the 3 so im sure they will have the most 3's att and made by the end of the season

Warriors actually, but of the poll, LeBron will get so many easy looks for his 3 point shooters, it should be them.

Drafted John Jenkins, the best pure shooter from the draft.

1. Spurs
2. Warriors
3. Bulls
4. Magic
5. Hawks

With the additions of Draymond Green, J. Jack and Barnes along with what can be expected as more floor time with Curry (on a team that already shot 39% from 3 last year), it might be the best 3pt shooting team ever assembled. Klay, Rush, Jefferson. Most of their non-bigs are 3pt assassins.

If Ray, Battier, and Miller can all stay relatively healthy, the Heat should put up the most.

charlies_angels

This would be heat because of Lebron making an opening to a lot of 3 point shooters and his passing skill is awesome no doubt about it.

TheIlladelph16
09-04-2012, 02:08 PM
Warriors, Heat, Spurs would be my guess... Can't really decide on one so there's three.

Homerism: Sixers are not close to those three teams in terms of three point shooting, but they have Jrue, Nick Young, Wright, Richardson all roaming the perimeter that is now opened up more by Bynum. They should at least be in the poll....
