Last year I posted the same poll around this time... I'm pretty sure Jrue Holiday and Demar Derozan were the #1 vote getters. If I didn't put someone on the list feel free to write them in. This year I am including one player from every team.

Where is this list?

lol i'm going to go against the grain and say Landry Fields. If he change his game back to his rookie year, he actually might put up better stats than Derozan. Fields is possibly a better shooter and rebounder than Derozan and will do the small things like play defense. And he might actually have better basketball IQ. but last year showed everything but that. Im hoping for rookie year Landry Fields.

Demar would be a candidate (for me) too if it wasn't the cliche thing to say (again)

John Wall's break out year.

I just spent like 20 minutes putting together a poll and I got an error message saying that I had to post it in ten... LOL. Starting a new thread. My bad.

I think it is between Evan Turner and Paul George... both are gifted and dedicated athletes who showed enormous growth last year on the professional level. I would put Favors in the running... but for a third consecutive season the Jazz have a logjam in the front court.

I really think Thabeet will have a BreakOut season

If he could get someone like Ewing or Jabar to mentor him like Dwight and Bynum then he could really have a shot.

Klay Thompson by far. Such a talent, makes Steph Curry look weak sauce!

Brook Lopez, Mr. Most Hated on PSD.

The kid can play, and now that he's the #3 option on this team, he should flourish.

I listed Marshon because Brook has already played at an all-star type level. I think he will definetely have a monster season and prove the haters wrong... but he is already a proven talent.

Aaron Afflalo. Now as a first option, I think he can have a breakout year, scoring like 20 points, playing some solid defense. But the Magic will suck anyway. Problem with your poll is that there are a lot of second or third year guys, all of them will have their best season in their careers, and a lot of players are just getting better since their rookie year.

Didn't want to go homer and go with Turner so I chose PG24.

Has Bynum broke out? If not, then him!

Turner is another guy.

Monroe!

I guess I took breakout as showing his true potential.

I think Marshon could also flourish as a 6th man, I just thought of Lopez as soon as I saw the thread.

Nic Batum. when used right, he and aldridge pack a serious 1-2 punch.

He was balling during the olympics.

I say Mayo. Dirk will continue to do his thing but he can't do it alone. Now that Terry is gone, Mayo will be heavily relied upon. I just hope he can do it efficiently.

I wonder if we will ever have a thread like this where less than 80% of posters don't go total homer.

It also doesn't make it easier with Thabeet as a poll option.

He was an 18-point guy in his first two years in the league, while doing this efficiently (yeah more or less). I doubt he can top that.

Jeremy Lin. Seriously, he's probably the best player next to Kevin Martin, that's how much talent the Rockets jettisoned this year.

Guys like Monroe and Cousins and Ty Lawson have all pretty much reached the level of star. Monroe has already broke out IMO... but I agree Knight is destined for a breakout year.

So far Favors is taking it... Even though he has Big Al, Milisap and Kanter to share minutes with.

i was realy tempted to choose thabeet but lets be realistic.
i chose paul george. he is a very good player in a good team.
i would choose favors if he had a bigger role in utah.
