for 8 years at 5.6 billion dollars. The last deal was for 300 million a year so 700 million is a significant bump.

Each team will receive 23.3 million per year before expenses.

yeah but he seems to hint at wanting NBC to take over Espn contract first. So it seems like he just wants NBC to have baseball.

Would have loved to see NBC get it with all the different channels they could put games on.

No more Blackouts,Wild Card Game,In Game progress and maybe MLB32.MLB Live in the Afternoons like the NFL programs but no Doubleheaders on Wednesday or even a Afternoon Game back.

We would hear about that even if they didnt renew their deal.
