So thatís Paul George of the Indiana Pacers going through-the-legs-360. Which is nice, for all of us, really.

Iíd also like to point out LeBron who was also on this trip to Shanghai going nuts for George. This is todayís reminder that all of those rivalries you think are significant and meaningful are really the equivalent of guys wearing mustaches during your local community play to indicate that they are villains.

In a related story: Wow.

They are doing a shitload of promotion in China. I swear every NBA team's been touring all over China this summer. Couple of Warriors were there in Taiwan and Beijing recently.

I'm calling a team dunk contest - Green/George vs. Derrick Williams/Chase Budinger

No gimmicks. We know white man can dunk and apparently PG likes tron.

Paul George is the most overhyped players in the History of PSD. In fact the pacers are overhyped in general. Sixers > Pacers. Evan Turners ceiling > Paul Geoges ceiling.

lol not even close paul george is miles better than turner. not all players turn out on their potential. evan turner is one of them unless he has a miracle turn around this season. he's had 2 seasons of mediocre ball

Haha... what?
Wait till the season before you start any of that. I don't have any idea how the Pacers could be overhyped on here. If they are by any means it's because of last year's showing in the playoffs and I think it's well-deserved.

Exactly.
When was the last time Turner did anything to get people off their feet?

I don't know, man but pretty much every uninjured NBA star is in China. From the Warriors, David Lee is there. Stern is doing some sort of huge promotion there.

Budinger and Williams were extremely unentertaining last year. I'd rather see Iggy and McGee or Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan or something.

Disclaimer

The views of this poster does not reflect that of the entire 76ers fans base.

Evan Turner's ceiling is higher than Paul George's and when Evan was at his best (for about 5 or so games) he has been better than Paul ever was however he has yet to show George's level of consistency on either end of the floor so as it stands by all accounts George is a better player.

Of course being a Pacer fan I have to disagree with the ceiling part. Also, Paul George is just about as inconsistent as they come as far as scoring. When he has a good game it's something to see though.

Yup no beef there. I just base my reasoning on Turner's all round game. I think we can agree there that its better than Paul's given that Turner has a unique skill set for a player his size. I don't think he'll ever become anywhere near the shooter than PG is however.

Evan Turner never had a high ceiling. He came into the league in a draft class that was thought to be very weak. He was supposed to be a guy that could contribute right away with solid numbers, and have steady growth but not a high ceiling. Turner supposedly had a very high floor, if that makes sense. Paul George was considered a guy with more potential and probably still is. He's 2 years younger remember that.

They both can still improve, but Turner is taking longer than expected to reach his ceiling.
