Tunnel vision much? The first two replies had no MJ.

A problem that I have with a lot of these lineups is that people pick talent without factoring in how the players would fit together and share 1 basketball.

Robinson is MUCH MUCH MUCH closer to Moses than Ewing is to Wilt. The reason I started Robinson over Moses was of 2 reasons he has already played with Duncan and has proven chemistry with him and he's twice the defensive player Moses was.

And what about the defense part? Other teams are throwing out Kareem, Hakeem (who already beasted Robinson once), Wilt etc don't you think individual D, help D and paint protection are all important.

How good was West from distance? This is a sick squad but I don't see any 3 point shooters to space the floor.

West could have killed you from anywhere on the floor. I've read old articles that he could have drained 26+ feet jumpers with ease. Older guys who actually saw him play would have a better idea than I do since they actually saw him play but since from what I have read I believe that he would have done quite well with a 3 point line.

He didnt take many of them because there was no 3pt line, had he focused on shooting them he would have likely suffered a similar fate to Pete Maravich.

No point in taking a low% shot if the reward for it doesnt exist, he did however master the mid range pullup. Its clear from his efficiency that he had the work ethic to develop the range had it been required (the same way Danny Ainge did as he entered the 90's). But yea thats my main weakness, I questioned if I should take a better shooter (Ray Allen, Reggie, Stockton, Nash) but at the end of the day I would rather have the FAR superior player in Wade, West, at the very least they make up some of the gap defensively.

My only concern would be putting West at the point but he has handled himself nicely in a variety of roles throughout his career.

Moses and Duncan make a complementary pairing. Moses was a beast on the glass. Duncan provides shot-blocking and Moses the strength and grit. Duncan can stretch it for a big, and Moses can bang down low (Duncan can also play down low).

Create the team in a way so that the personalities can get along

On the court or off the court? Because I put the most dominating statistical monster in NBA History (Wilt) with a bunch of unselfish brilliant passers (LeBron-Dr. J-Bird-KG). Plus my two forwards don't even clog the paint. That's chemistry baby.

That's not chemistry. That is a bunch of guys who need the ball in there hands to be effective. Wouldn't work. Put Russell in there instead of Wilt and then you may have a case.

There are a couple that may argue that I played TD out of position as well :laugh2: I think Walton will do fine in the capacity of a PF. Also having LeBron on your team affords you the luxury of not having a prototypical back up PF.

Anyhow, my starting 5 is pretty much self-explanatory. Now tell me that bench wont crucify the opposing team.
