The first pick from Charlotte is protected or something? How do the Bulls have it?

Bulls receive the Bobcats' 2013 first-round pick (top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016) (Tyrus Thomas trade 02-18-10)

Bulls rape this trade, Raptors can get more for DeRozan

Deng is better shooter and rebounder than DeRozan..
Deng can play SG, SF and PF position..
Deng will beat Bargnani as no.1 scorer in their team..

in terms of salary, DeRozan is a restricted FA next season, im sure he'll ask more money $8-12M..

Super.

DeRozen is nothing more than an inefficient chucker, not to mention he'd get destroyed by most SFs on defense.

This deal destroys the defensive identity of the bulls too

I think Chicago turns down the deal, if they want Martin, can't they make a sign-and-trade for him next season without giving up Deng? Great deal for both Toronto and Houston, but the Charlotte pick has a lot of value.

brockman can not be traded with other players and the bulls would not move dang for that weak of a return, an aging 2 and a young chuck shooter, who can both just walk at the end of the season, cap room or not for dang thats kind of weak.

Brockman can be traded next week, the Rockets traded for him before the draft so it will complete 60 days after the trade in the next days. He has a non-guaranteed contract though, don't know when it becomes guaranteed of if the Rockets have already cut him.

DeRozan maybe inefficient shooter but he got an amazing athletic skills, he's a lot better than Gerald Green plus Martin is a very good scorer/shooter also.. With the absence of Rose the team needs more scorer..

yeah but the trade was not posted next week lol. as is this trade could not be done right now besides its still not a good value trade for some one who they do not need to move. this is not like D 12 there is no real pressure to make a move. they would be stupid not to field offers but they definitely do not have to move him.

but the bulls are not bad with out rose there just mediocre. there going to beat bad teams but there not going to win enough to matter. there not getting a good draft pick there just going to either hope rose comes back at 100% in time to sneak in to the playoffs or hope they get a steal int he draft.
