Kalish, Iglesias, Carpenter, maybe Wilson, other than that idk. Britton is on the 40 man so maybe hell be randomly bumped up.

I really want to see Iglesias, just give him a chance. That way we could sell Aviles and not have to deal with his constant errors on defense.

I agree with the first part, but its Aviles' offense that is the problem, not his defense. Hes been above average defensively this season. Iglesias is on a whole different plane though, and im ready to see what he can do.

They both have offensive problems. But you're right, Iglesias is on another planet defensively, and I don't think Aviles is good defensively. He's made 12 errors this season, most on the team.

Thats irrelevant though. Shortstops always make the most errors.

Aviles' dWar is 1.8 and UZR is 7.8, which are both 5th in the MLB amongst shortstops. Thats good.

And only 12 errors for a full time SS at this point in the season seems very low.

So, yes, you are correct that Aviles' problem is NOT his defense.
