I dont know why but i have always liked Gerald Green. I thought he was going to be really good borderline great. He had a decent jumper, through the roof athleticism, and ok defense. He had massive amounts of potential but never fully reached it nevertheless he is still one of my favorite players and am excited to see what he can do with his first guaranteed roster spot on an offseason since 2006 (his sophomore year) where he can learn how to be a key piece to an offense. I have no reason why i always like him but i did any of these for you guys?

Nice thread idea, better than some others at least.

Dunno, I like Aron Afflalo, he could be a good fit on a contending team as a fourth/fifth option. Just play defense and hit a good percentage of open threes. But I expect an Ariza type season of him. He was a solid piece in Lakers championship run, but a bad first option on New Orleans..

I guess Splitter is underrated, probably could do a solid job as a starter..

I like Courney Lee too, I really wanted him to come to Minnesota this year but oh well..

Then Marcin Gortat, Thaddeus Young.

@UPRock. I think Kyrie is a pretty big name already. A rising start to build a team around.

i have liked him since the block that kept the pistons out the finals(im going to use that in another thread thanks for reminding me). crazy to think that if one hustle play doesnt happen kobe could be working on 7 shaq has 5 and karl malone is a champ OR reggie miller is a champ and JO possibly starts dominating the league with a ring under his belt and maybe ron artest isnt crazy...naw that last one was a stretch lol. but you get where im going with this. crazy how he changed the landscape of the nba...wow

Yea I wanted the cavs to draft him when I was following them "predecision" but they drafted Daniel green. You can't teach hustle man.

I dont think I've ever been in love with a player besides Avery Bradley lol. I love his game, absolutely love it. I even think he is better defensively then shumpert but shump has the advantage because he is taller. He is a much better shooter than shump though. Would love to have him on the knicks. I like shump though

Taj Gibson. All he does is come to work and put in a good effort...

For former players, Anthony Mason. Had the best haircuts. I never saw a player his size handle the ball. Pippen used to bring the ball down but Mason used to always run the offense. Kind of a precursor to Lebron with his ballhandling...

Honestly he is moves on top of moves in the post. If he had an ounce of athletic talent, he'd be worth alot more.

Jared Dudley. He will always give you something positive while on the floor. It could be defense it could be offense you never know but he will always battle and play his heart out. Off the court he is probably the most charismatic player in the NBA. When you guys have a chance check out his youtube channel and his show "JMZ".

Andre Miller is the second-toughest player in NBA history, but better than the first: A.C. Green. He doesn't take **** from anyone; he scores points moving like an old man and shooting some of the ugliest jumpers you've ever seen; and you can always count on him to come in and run your offense.

Derek Fisher. Came in with Kobe, I saw him play in his first SL game in person, and I saw him grow up on the Lakers and return to the team. His shooting in the 01 playoffs especially the way he sliced the Spurs up from 3, battles with Deron to kill Utah, 0.4, dunk on AI, the Orlando shots, and game 3 in Boston are great memories as is his returning from his daughters operation and hitting the big shots. Favorite role player ever in the NBA (used to be Kukoc) and as a Laker (toss between Horry and Fox years ago)

i also wanna add perry jones iii. i really liked him in college wanted the heat to draft em but they traded down for cap reasons. but i think playing behind and alongside durant will help him i think he will compliment him well because of his athleticism and height and giving them a scoring 3-4 type of player that can help when teams key in on durant and westbrook and it looks like harden prob wont be returning since the chose ibaka(smart move) so jones can fill in that 6th man roll when/if he develops. Sam Presti you are the man once again.
