Who are your top 3 most underrated players in the NBA?Try not to pick any allstars.

Mine are:

1.Greg Monroe-dude is 1 of the best young bigs in the NBA,not that athletic but he can do it all as a all-around player.

2.Monta Ellis-1 of the best scoring guards in the NBA,doesn't get talked about enough because he never played with any talented players. He's a top 5 sg in my opinion.

3.Paul Milsap-he can score in a lot of different ways, and can rebound as well,he could flourish if he could get out of Utah and with a team where he is the clear cut starter.

2.Rudy Gay
3.Monta Ellis

anyone who doesn't say marcus thornton just proves that he's one of the most underrated players in the league. The dude puts up 20-25 points almost every night easily.

Avery Bradley, Kwahi Leonard, Kenneth Faried.

Monta Ellis, really?

Milisap comes to mind, as does Jrue Holiday.

1. Paul Milsap - The guy can barely get a starting position, although I'd venture to say he's been more effective than Carlos Boozer for the past few years. Seriously, NBA; just make this guy a permanent starter and part of a big three already.

2. Andre Miller - This guy is the second-most durable player in NBA history, and he's a lot better than A.C. Green. The Lakers should have replaced Derek Fisher with Miller a long time ago. There are several league powerhouses that should rightfully have Miller as a starting or back-up point guard.

3. Jarrett Jack - This guy is certifiable sixth man material. He filled in nicely for Chris Paul, can hit the three and drive to the hoop and has one of the most unassuming egos in the league.

Jamal crawford/monta/Melo(saying melo is not top 5 makes him underrated) People will learn i wish all these clowns who say he is top 10 or 15 can sit in a room with me and bring 1000$ we will see if they can deny that after this season

Evans is over rated. Cousins and Thomas are rated fine.

I took a year off from watching the NBA last season, so I'm not completely in the know.
Many of my fellow Raptor fans hate Andrea Bargnani and want him traded. Within the raptor community, he is underrated.
I'll say Iggy too. Dude puts up good numbers, and has intangibles. That whole thing with the All star team last year kinda proves that he's underrated.
LATELY, you don't hear Tim Duncan included in many "best player" lists. He's a threat for 20/10 every night which is impressive. Maybe he's becoming underrated even though he's still awesome

Al Horford is someone who doesn't get more credit than he deserves IMO.

08-20-2012, 10:33 AM
Jared Dudley, Delonte West, Danny Green

For me I'd say (off the top of my head):
Humphries (last season and this season, nobody tried signing him and NJ would only give him a two year deal... this guy is a rebounding stud who gives you a double-double almost every night...)
David Lee (people rip him because of his defence, but he great at cleaning up the glass and he has a great offensive game)
Rudy Gay (in the games I've watch of Rudy Gay, he is among the best SFs in the game and he can shoot the ball under pressure... his numbers would be crazy if the team he was on didn't have as many options as it does)

and most of all Tim Duncan. The guy is perhaps the best PF of all time, he's lead his team to like 13 consecutive 50+ win seasons and they are contenders every year, but still people always talked about Shaq when he was still playing, and now Kobe of James, but Duncan is as good as any of those players and deserves to hold as high a place in the NBA pantheon as any of those players.

1. Lamarcus Aldridge
2. Gerald Wallace
3. Paul George

runner-up: Marcus Camby

First, Monta is over-rated if you ask me.

Courtney Lee is under-rated.

08-20-2012, 11:12 AM
ray felton deserves a mention. People act like he's a straight scrub on this board.
