KD is the best hands down but who will be #2. Iggy? Rudy Gay? One of the new up and comers like Batum or Beasley?

Beasley? Um, never.

Gay or Iggy have the best chance I would guess. The little homer inside me is hoping Kirilenko finds his 2008 self again, but I highly doubt that happens.

It might not even be a wing.. since you don't pick small forwards.. you just pick forwards... soo..

Durant
Griffin - Aldridge - Love - Nowitzki - Lee - Davis....

I might take all of those guys before Gay or Iguodala...

Yeah that's true. The coaches will pick forwards, so they could possibly pick all PFs.

With a breakout season, Kawhi Leonard needs to be in this discusion.

If Beasley makes it, I will be very very happy.

He's slotted to be the Suns #1 option on offense this year.

That's a scary thought.

Also, I say this considering that Iggy will play SG this year, not SF. At least in the All-Star game. If Iggy is a SF, he takes the backup spot.

Minny fan right? Beasley basically will have the keys to the Lambo. He has every opportunity to be a 25ppg scorer. Pending any unwanted setbacks, he will accomplish that.

The reason I ask this is because every position is basically "set" in stone who is #1 and #2.

West
Cp3/westbrook
Kobe/Iggy(unless he plays 3)
Kd/???
Love/Blake
D12/Cousins(unless he tajes a step back)

Iggy

Best defender out of all the names mentioned. the coaches will vote him in.

Idk about Gino. He might decline a bit. I just see Iggy blowing up in an offense like Denver's. If anybody else takes the back up SG it will be Harden. Harden is in his contract year and he will want to show he is worth a max.

They just vote forwards in though, so needing a SF won't be that important. Why would you send a lesser player over some PF's who are clearly better?

Dude, Beasley will drive you insane. Period. Ball stopping, tunnel vision, long 2's for no reason, oblivious to defense, ugh.

Based on last seaso's performance I'd go with Rudy Gay. I watched that one game against LA where they were down by 9 with like a minute to go, and he scored 2 clutch 3's to bring the game to within 3, and both shots were hard with defenders on him. Then he misses the third three and the commentators were all like: Roy fails in the clutch. I'm like, dude, HE JUST HIT TWO CLUTCH THREES!!!! Fawk.

Gay deserves some love. He's a great player.

Lol. You old have just left the OP open to all thoughts, without offering Beasley as your option to begin with. This makes it appear as if you are just creating a homer Beasley thread in disguise.

If you do mention beasley, who has accomplished very little, then why not mention all the decent SFs.... Amino, gallinari, etc etc....

Why not mention Derrick williams or kirelenko? Arguments can be made for them as well...

And as we all know, in he all star process, position is not of importance. So even if iguodala play SG this year, he can still be on the team instead of a SF. In general, the best players make the team. Beasley is a long shot at best.

If you want to look at it from a troll/baitpoint of view then yeah I'm a homer. Batum hasn't done much either and, just like Beasley, Gallo was good at first but rather disappointing now. I just threw some names but it was not limited towards them.

Pau will be heading back to the all-star game as a reserve forward after not making in this shortened season. Book it!
