Lakers. This is the best basketball roster I've seen in years.

The Heat, but only because the east is easier than the west.

Heat easily, the West is really tough this season top to bottom. The East is shaky beyond #1.

If Dwight is ready for training camp, Lakers.

If not, Heat, especially since the East is still not quite as tough as the West top to bottom.

Heat

The Lakers haven't played one game together so are gonna have a problem at first. Add this to the fact Dwight might not be back until after Xmas and they're playing in the tough West, I can't see them having the best record overall.

The East is at it's weakest it's been for a few years, Dwight moving to the West, Rose out for the majority of the year, Boston losing Ray to Miami. Miami will dominate the East.

Who is the centre for the Lakers if Howard is out for a while?

Bucks. Jennings wins MVP averaging 26-8-10 on 54% shooting

Gasol & Jamison would be the C & PF with Jordan Hill being the sub for the both of them

Heat with an outside chance for OKC to take the best record. Howard won't be ready to start and then it will take some time to shake the rust off. I believe Miami will be in attack mode all season and gets the 1 seed.

Dwight has been running and working out in UCLA, so he might not miss any time

Should be the Heat. Out West I think the Clippers have a good chance at the #1 seed. I don't think they come out of the West but they are built very well for the regular season. I don't the Lakers are a factor for best record because Howard should miss some time and historically they sleep walk through parts of the regular season. They are built for the playoffs and have to make sure their older legs are ready to go.

I say Thunder. Miami doesn't really care much about regular season, just like celtics, they care about the playoffs. I'm not a fan of Mike Brown so i say Lakers will be behind Thunder.

Miami HEAT.

Orlando and Atlanta got significantly weaker. There's a decent likelihood Atlanta, Orlando, Charlotte, and Washington are all in the lottery. I expect Miami to win at least 18 of those 20 games. That alone gives them a significant advantage.

I think the Thunder know they need the best record to get thru both LA and Miami.

I think the Knicks can win 60 games this year, maybe I'm nuts though.
